There's something beautiful about worshiping God in the quiet moments, when nobody is watching and we have nothing to prove. 🕊🎶 Sometimes those private moments of surrender bring more peace than anything else in the world. Where do you feel closest to God—inside a church, alone in your room, surrounded by nature, or somewhere completely different?
There was a year when it felt like every door in my life was closing. I had just lost my job at a factory when my teenage son was involved in a motorcycle accident on his way home from school. He suffered a broken leg and needed surgery. I still remember standing at the hospital reception desk, holding the doctor's estimate in my hands, knowing I had no way to pay for it. My wife and I borrowed money from relatives, sold our old motorbike, and took turns sleeping in a plastic chair beside our son's hospital bed. I would go outside during the night, look at the empty parking lot, and cry because I felt I had failed my family. One night, after my son fell asleep, I held his hand and prayed to God. I asked Him to protect my child, guide the doctors, and give me the strength to keep going. I didn't ask for a comfortable life; I only wanted to bring my son home safely. The surgery went well, but his recovery took months. I accepted temporary work wherever I could find it, and slowly we managed to pay back some of the money we had borrowed. The day my son took his first steps again, I stood beside him with tears in my eyes. It was such a small thing, but to me it felt like a miracle. We still have bills to pay and many struggles ahead, but I no longer forget how far God has carried us. Thank You, Lord, for protecting my son, giving us strength when we were broken, and never letting us face our darkest days alone. All honor and glory belong to You. 🙏❤
