When did we start calling Pastors "Papa"? π . This is one of the heretical traditions we adopted from pagan Roman Catholicism. Protestants broke out of the Catholic, yet we still kept a lot of their crazy doctrines. Calling men of God "papa" or father was NEVER done by anyone in the Bible. Even Jesus' Apostles called themselves ELDERS of the church and not Priests or Papaβ¦Jesus, when referring to the believers spiritual life said "Do not call anyone your Fatherβ¦.you have only ONE Father and He is in Heaven. The Lord Jesus was referring to us calling spiritual heads here on earth "Father". Only God is our Spiritual Father. This rubbish is amongst one of the many heretical traditions the Roman Catholic derived from the ancient Roman paganismβ¦..Protestants broke out because of the Catholics pagan traditions, yet we are still adhering to some of them. Read your Bibleβ¦I respect all these men of God, but one thing is sure, they're humans, they're not all knowingβ¦.they can make mistakes and go wrong in a lot of ways. Our main guide in this life is the Bible (Christ) not Pastors. Even the great Apostles Peter made mistakes so many timesβ¦.one time, he even feared men more than God and Apostle Paul scolded him for it. Jesus' 12 apostles had also been wrong a lot of times too and they were corrected. We can correct our human spiritual leaders when and if they're getting it wrongβ¦they too are STILL learning. May God continue to strengthen these men of God. I thank them for being willing to pay the price and take up the burden, it's not easyβ¦.the pressure is not easy at all. May God continue to strengthen them and raise up greater men and women to take up the mantles from generation to generation. Amen π
