At 4:05 I must disagree that the conscience is the spirit. Those that don’t know God have a conscience. If the conscience is the spirit of man how can it be seared? 1 Timothy 4:2 AMPC [2] Through the hypocrisy and pretensions of liars whose consciences are seared (cauterized),
The spirit is the life force in man. Proverbs 4:20-23 NKJV [20] My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. [21] Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; [22] For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. [23] Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.
1 Kings 3:9 AMPC [9] So give Your servant an understanding mind and a hearing heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and bad. For who is able to judge and rule this Your great people?
There is a difference in hearing with the mind or soulish realm and hearing in the spirit.
Compare hearing the Voice of God to reading Braille or reading lips it is a learned skill
Matth 13:13 speaks of hearing but not hearing, this is spiritual not physical.
Matthew 13:13 AMPC [13] This is the reason that I speak to them in parables: because having the power of seeing, they do not see; and having the power of hearing, they do not hear, nor do they grasp and understand.
Isaiah 50:4-5 AMPC … He wakens Me morning by morning, He wakens My ear to hear as a disciple [as one who is taught]. [5] The Lord God has opened My ear, and I have not been rebellious or turned backward.
At 9 min he is referring to the renewing of the mind Romans 12:2 NKJV [2] And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Romans 8:7-11 NKJV [7] Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. [8] So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. [9] But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. [10] And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. [11] But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
I like this guy but sometimes he twist the word of God say what he want it to say… in most of his sermons …listen how he twist what he read out loud (35:35 minutes. The verse say your body is dead because of sin not tp sin but he want it to say to sin to support his immortal flesh doctrine. After he read it out loud he caught himself and right away twistet is🤔🤔🤔
