All fallow land is to be ploughed up and a regular system of rotation followed. … Never hide anything, be it weed or no, nor seem to wish it hidden. … Again I assert the Right of Trespass on any plot of Holy Ground which any man has set apart. … Now I am convinced that no one but a Christian can actually purge his land of these holy spots. … I do not say that no Christians have enclosed places of this sort.
At eight he could recite long passages of John Milton and the whole of the 119th psalm (176 verses). Indeed, his knowledge of scripture was already detailed; he could give chapter and verse for almost any quotation from the Psalms
Matthew 15:26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs. 27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table. 28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
( A obscure old book from 1913) The Loyalty of the dog for his master so excited the admiration of a certain man in Italy, a long time ago, that as he walked through the field, his faithful dog with him, a prayer came to his heart that he might be as loyal and unselfish in his service to God as the dog was to him. The idea grew upon him, and he explained it to several other men, and they formed a society, calling themselves " Domini Canes" literally, the Dogs of the Lord. Soon the name was written " Dominicans", and Dominicans it is, even unto this day. And I wish to emphasize the fact that the original idea of the Dominicans was not one of objectness, but of loyalty.
Dominican Order (Order of Preachers) founded by Saint Dominic in 1216. It originates from a prenatal dream of Saint Dominic’s mother, Blessed Juana de Aza, who dreamt she gave birth to a dog with a flaming torch in its mouth, setting the world on fire.

The Man: William Tyndale (c. 1494–1536): Tyndale was an English scholar and priest determined to translate the Bible into English directly from original Hebrew and Greek sources, rather than the Latin Vulgate.
While studying in Germany, Tyndale met with Martin Luther and worked with another scholar, Observant Friar William Roy, to translate the New Testament. Earlier, Dominican Raymundus Martini (1220–1285) was a Spanish specialist who pioneered the study of Hebrew texts, which laid groundwork for later translations
Dominican friar burned at the stake was Girolamo Savonarola, a 15th-century reformer executed in Florence in 1498 for opposing papal corruption. While Dominicans were often the inquisitors, some friars were executed for opposing the Pope's authority. Girolamo Savonarola (1452–1498): A Dominican friar who became the moral dictator of Florence, Savonarola preached against the corruption of the Roman Catholic Church and Pope Alexander VI. He was hanged and his body burned in the Piazza della Signoria in Florence on May 23, 1498
Fra Domenico da Pescia & Fra Silvestro Maruffi (1498): Two of Savonarola's closest followers who were executed alongside him, sharing his fate on the pyre.
Tyndale's work was deemed heretical by the Catholic Church, and he was eventually betrayed and executed by strangulation and burning in 1536. Despite this, his translation formed the basis for about 80% of the King James Bible (1611).
While some monks in monasteries historically copied and maintained scriptures in Latin, they often opposed translating them into the common vernacular English, viewing such actions as heretical and a threat to Roman Catholic Church and the Pope's authority.
Jeremiah 23:29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord;
Luke 12:49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? 50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished! 51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
Jeremiah 20:9 9 Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.

Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. 12 Therefore many of them believed;
Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. 45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
Galatians 1:1212 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

In summary: walk as Jesus walked. "So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience" [Col 3v12]
