2012: Meant to Be Nathan Burr (Bradley Dorsey) is a 20-year-old raised in foster care who loses his job and girlfriend. As someone guilty of paying for an abortion, then 20 years later, saved and forgiven by God's amazing grace, I can testify to the consequences of my sin. Forgiven doesn't mean there aren't earthly results. The thief on the cross was forgiven and still died there. The only issue I had with the movie was when Mav said, "She deserves forgiveness." We don't, I especially don't, deserve anything but hell. The horrible sin I committed 41 years ago, still bears down on me even though I know God refuses to remember it. It's a very sobering movie. Not easy to watch because of the guilt. Hopefully, it'll stop someone from doing the same stupid things I did.
Oh Heavenly Papa God… I AM SO VERY SORRY!! Thank You for your Mercy and your Grace! Thank you for the finished work of the Cross and our Incredible Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Forgive Us Father! WE KNOW NOT WHAT WE DO!! If I could change this, I would! Help us all to forgive ourselves and release it all over to you Father.
Tell our babies how regretful those of us are, who knew no better. That they live in our hearts every minute of every day and how much we love them. That they were precious Gifts from You Lord and we were ignorant, foolish and selfish young girls. Tell them that they were the greatest gifts we could ever have received and the greatest lessons we have ever had to learn. WE SEND OUR REPENTANCE AND WE SEND OUR INCREDIBLE LOVE FOR THEM. WITH SO MUCH REGRET FOR OUR CHOICES.
If we could know then what we know now, we would never make that same choice. This very moment, I take full responsibility and I forgive myself and I release it all over to you Lord!

Interesting movie with an unpredicted plot twist. There's another movie with the exact same idea. Tbh, I don't like this way of addressing the issue, and in this movie it leaves a lot of holes in the details of the drama.
