There are devotionals that are instructional and inspiring and it’s ok to attach emojis to one’s comment. This is not one of them. Jesus’s agony is so profound beyond anything we could even begin to comprehend. He was about the drink the cup of his Father’s wrath. He was sorrowful to the point of death. LITERALLY. Jesus was sinless, pure, and holy. He had to surrender all of that and become the thing that was the most evil and repulsive to Him and become sin. For obedience to His Father. Jesus was so overcome with agony that He fell on His face and His blood ran down his face, his clothes and on the ground. We’re not told nor can we understand what He endured in the blackness of that night. In a few hours He would be beaten, spit upon, scourged and nailed to a cross. Luke 22:39-44 is some of the most sacred scripture in the Bible. Please read the verses and reflect upon them.

What great a price was paid for our “free” gift of Grace; we paid nothing; He paid it ALL😢 🩸 🩸

Amazing… I appreciated in particular the link with Numbers 21, about the well ❤️❤️❤️
And made me think also about the prophecy from Zechariah 13.
