Please pray with me. The biggest hinderance to fulfilling purpose has been my family. In 2023 they publicly shamed me and pushed a wrong narrative of me to friends I had at the time because they didn't like the profession I chose as an adult. Mostly, they also didn't like the fact I was part of an evangelism team while I practiced my career. So they sold a narrative of me to people I knew and mocked me publicly. This thing affected my mental health and I found it hard to recover again. Lord I pray you restore every lost year the devil used my family to rob me of. Lord vindicate me.
Hi pastor, you have to take in account Ephesians chapter 1…we have been predestined and chosen before the foundation of the world …to be holy in love…to be a child of God…to the praise of the glory of his grace…we have obtained an inheritance…that we should be the praise of his glory…sealed with the holy Spirit. This is what the word of God also says.
You are a FANTASTIC teacher, making very few mistakes. But this teaching, though it has many good points, has potentially dangerous parts.
Dominion teaching is missing in the church, we SHOULD teach dominion. Thank you brother Blake for doing that. But one can do TOO far in that and cross the red line. I have heard teachers go wrong in this area – saying we are gods. Shall we receive worship too ? This is crossing that line.
Here are some "potential" concerns in this teaching :
1 – we are God in this world We are made in the IMAGE of God in this World. We are the ambassador and the representation of God to ALL creatures. An ambassador is NOT God, but an image of Him. We have dominion, as being as an extension of God. We are NOT gods in ourselves, alone from God.
2 – Saying Psalm 115 speaks ONLY of God giving the Earth to man. It also says that God is in Heaven and does as He will. This is an important check, to stop us from believing we are gods in this world. It surprises me to hear brother Blake NOT quoting ALL the psalm and leaving that part out.
3 – Psalms 8 was NOT about natural man… BUT the RISEN man Jesus said that ALL psalms talked about HIM first, then us THROUGH Him. This teaching would have us believe that we are THAT man in psalms 8 in Adam. This is mistaken. Psalms 8 is an allegory of the RISEN Christ. This is what Hebrews 2 says.
Heb 2:9Â But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.Â
Only risen man in Christ HAS that authority. David was prophecising of the coming of the King who has ALL things under His dominion. All of the works of God are NOT under OUR dominion, never were they. Only the things on THIS Earth are to be made subject to us – as Curry also teaches.
4 – Is man no2 under God ? In quoting psalm 8, our brother tells us that ALL things are under US and that we are a little UNDER God. Psa 8:5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels(ELOHIM), and hast crowned him with glory and honour.Â
But, again, our brother is avoiding Heb 2.
Heb 2:5Â For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.Â
Heb 2:6Â But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?Â
Heb 2:7Â Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:Â
Here the context is "ANGELS" not God. There is NO way we can fit "Theos" into this teaching. "For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come". The masoretic INCORRECTLY uses the term "Elohim", it was a textual error, the term SHOULD have been angels. The septuagint correctly states is angels, so Hebrews also confirms. New testament theology corrects the mistaken masoretic (written a millenium after the septuagint)
As natural man – fall or NO fall – Angels were NEVER under our feet. Only beasts of the fields. We were NOT made above angels and cherubims. When we read Ezekiel, we see cherubims around the Lords throne and angels surrounding the throne…and NO men. It is ONLY upon resurrection, that we get to be upon the throne of God BEFORE angels. IT is RISEN man that has that position, in Christ ALONE.
5 . Man walks on demons with His (recuperated) authority
Christ DID come as a man AMEN. Christ DID miracles as a man…and NOT as God.. AMEN. BUT… Christ did not miracles as a SINLESS, UNFALLEN man…in Adam's authority.
Christ was under HIS Father's authority. Luk 11:20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. Not Adam's finger.
It was God's authority working through a 100% submitted man (Christ) that worked the miracles. It was NOT Christ walking in Adams innate natural authority that walked on water or feed thousands or healed the sick or cast out demons.
Joh 10:25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name , they bear witness of me. (Dozens of verses confirm this in the old and new testament..It is Christ working in HIs Fathers Authority)
Christ then delegated GOD'S authority to us. True – it is the same word for power is mentioned by satan and by God (dynamus) But that does NOT make it the SAME power. It is wrong to assume Matt 4 (quoting satan and his received authority ) and then Christ giving US authority is the SAME authority. This is most unlikely. As NOT all power is from God.
Act 26:18Â To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the *POWER of Satan unto God*, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.Â
From the power of satan, unto the power of God… therefore the power of God is DIFFERENT from the power of satan.
The ONLY way we can take authority against demons is in HIS name, in His authority.
Isa 9:6Â For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.Â
His name is that of the MIGHTY God. Adam's name was NEVER Mighty God.. nor even god. Just dust.
Dust has NOT authority of spirit. We cast out demons in the authority of God…NOT ours. (Remember the 7 sons of Sceva)
I hate to question the incredibly great work of this ministry. I enjoy every word preached.
But here… we need to slow done and double-check the doctrine, according to the wisdom Blake has already taught us to do.
Please do not be discouraged brother, please keep racing on.
But just WATCH OUT HERE… Those who hate this ministry will be able to find fault with this teaching. I do NOT want that to happen, this teaching is EXCELLENT.
Brother, if a teaching CAN be questioned, then it SHOULD be. If the wind can blow over a building, then it should. We only want TRUTH. Truth CANNOT be questioned, nor does it fear opposition.
Amen 🔥
Really helpful teaching as always. Thanks so much.
Thank GOD for Bro. Curry !
Thanks so much Brothers Curry🙏🏼
So good, I love that you just tell it like it is
Good word
