It’s funny that you said “people will say these aren’t real people” I say that on a daily basis about the left. If you tried to put them in writing it wouldn’t work because people would reject the characters, they’d say “these people couldn’t exist in real life” the problem is that they actually do. They’re just so absurdly ridiculous that their existence defies belief, which is utterly insane since there’s so many of them.
I can’t watch any of these clowns… they cannot convince me with their acting that they are not colossal assholes, performance is all they have, all they are. Love for decency does not abide in them
Having been touched by murder and witnessed an execution are the reasons I haven't watched this movie, but given your review, I may give it a go. I am very much pro capital punishment. Like you, I agree that the process is flawed with the number of appeals and the time involved in the legal system is both punishment for the families and the criminal.
Totally agree with your assessment about "conservative" or "Christian" entertainment. I wish it weren't so but it is for the most part. It's funny but quite often, good Christian films are by accident.

I remember seeing that movie in High School. Great movie.
The problem is when people think that because someone is good at their job that makes them a good person. This is especially NOT true in Hollywood.

As a 30 year old man I really appreciate Andrew’s wisdom. He can talk about anything and I seem to always learn something.
