I love this scene. Phelps still respected Courtney even after he was shot by him at Sugar Loaf. Goes to show he is still haunted by his mistakes during the war and seeks redemption.
I love the facial expression Cole makes when he yells โI will blow your fucking head off!โ Because you can really see and feel the emotion in Cole.
This was the first time I'd seen Cole Phelps getting extremely angry, and I was in utter shock. I watched this scene several times, despite having a case to finish.
It sad that Roy Earle, The Mayor and The Chief will walk because the new DA warns Worrell that the conspiracy will be exposed and offered him a chance to bargain his way out to avoid implication, The Mayor and The Chief were able to make a deal with Petersen by securing him as the new DA in exchange for keeping their corruption a secret
While Phelps is kind of an asshole, and a lot of the events are directly his fault, I like how after the war he realizes that all the people under his command were brave soldiers. Itsโฆweird to see that, even if Sheldon shot him.
Cole was an asshole when serving in his unit, a stickler and constantly pulling rank, now he's willing to risk murdering a cop while giving his most heartfelt praise in the game. Thats some good development
I love this scene. You can see Cole finally break under the pressure of everything that happened to him in his life: ROTC, the war, his affair and the SRF and morphine heist cases
He kept his demons close but here is when he finally let them loose so he could finally become a better man.
I could write an essay about how much I love this scene, but the part that stands out to me the most right now is how Cole seems to finally identify with his fellow marines after all we've seen of him treating them with a kind of superiority complex.
Man I really hated Roy. When he's my partner and I get a little bored, I keep running him over with the car. It's soothing, like a back massage
There's something about the way Phelps says that word "fucking" that's just so intense. "Blow your FFFFUCKing head off!"

Full movie
Say what you want about Roy Earle but he looked that gun right in the barrel and didn't flinch.
Biggs might've started out as a jerk, but deep inside he's got a good heart. Cops like that are the best, same with Hank from Detroit Become Human.
Too bad LA Noire didn't have any sequel.
where do you find that newspaper

I know I'm not the only one that saw that car just randomly appear out of no where๐๐๐
"You've finally lost it, partner."
0:26 Herschel Biggs: "There's a time to talk and a time to shut up, now is the time to be quiet" I agree with Biggs

Fuck yes!! I been waiting to do this to him since day one!!
Heโs lucky Joshua Graham was there
ALRIGHT COLE!!! Now that's what I'm talking about!๐๐๐ฟ
everyone talks about staton's voice acting but nobody talks about earle's voice actor does an incredible job acting an awful, evil, and corrupt cop
Phelps should've taken a note from Kelso's book and shoot Roy in the leg, it's when you really see what these poncy bastards are made of.
Love this game.
I still remember the first time I heard Phelps get THAT angry
Cole defending the man who shot him during the war against one of the LAPD biggest piece of shit and his former partner tells you everything.
This is one of the times I wish you could've been able to kill Roy. Especially since its his fault Cole got demoted to arson in the first place.
Cole Phelps is on fire. A good honest cop ๐ฎโโ๏ธ ๐ฎโโ๏ธ ๐ฎwith serious nerves standing up to corrupt cops.
Yknow what i used that certain sentence to people who were just total bitches in school, i brought an airsoft gun to school
This scene shows how Cole matured.
This game was a masterpiece. Too bad they abandoned it. They should have really made a part 2.
Wish he had just shot Roy right then and there. At least then we wouldn't have to hear him give that god-awful eulogy
Threatening a cop isn't really a good idea
Cole was an asshole when serving in his unit, a stickler and constantly pulling rank, now he's willing to risk murdering a cop while giving his most heartfelt praise in the game. Thats some good development

The actor that plays Cole is amazing I can feel his anger not many video game characters can me make me feel that.
By the end of game every cop came out corrupt
I fuckin hated working homicide and ad vice man dogshit partners both of them
