Love both but I almost always choose black. I just think the signature in the middle is out of place. I would rather it on the spine and the front remain plain black.
Genuine leather one looks great! Looks to be really solid construction on both! I got the Baker Illustrated Study Bible and the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible, Personal Size in the post today and was a bit disappointed that the ICSB didn’t have gilded edges nor any ribbons (+is a paper paste-down)— ahh well, I can add the latter! Definitely interested in getting one of these at some point after seeing your review: 110% agreed on vinyl paste-down liners being far superior to paper ones!
Which cover do you prefer?
That leather soft brown marble look is absolutely beautiful
so far I've enjoyed the cheap goodnews bible in cheap paper back!!

Definitely the genuine leather. The spine on the other was too ornate and busy.

The genuine leather is wonderful! But to just purchase as an everyday beater I go with the synthetic leather.
Neither one seeing he owned slaves/humans against the Lords will.
I went with the (cheaper) hardcover version, as I always do with Study Bibles, but both of these are beautiful.
Thanks for fulfilling my request and doing this comparison. You're a real one bro
Does the genuine leather lay flatter?
Preordered my genuine leather edition from thriftbooks a while back. I think it was 92 or so.
