God chooses the time for us to deeply hear him, talk with him and feel his presence. It doesn't have to be 4am. I usually go to bed about midnight, pray before going into a deep sleep until about 2.30am when I wake and spend about an hour communing with God, reading his word or other spiritual works OR if I don't wake at about 2.30 then I'll often wake about 6am pick up my journal and write whether it is he is putting inmy mind – maybe just thoughts, hymns, or praise songs to sing or to actually compose (he writes – I just hold the pen/pencil and let the wods flow onto the paper for me to read later when I'm fully awake), or he might let me know the things he wants me to do or say later in the day/week -I'll know when the time is right fr me to shoare what he's put in my heart. We are all different and feeling that we must wake at 2am is not necessary – just DO what God puts in your heart and sleep pattern).
