Even to this day I'm absolutely amazed how people are not presented with facts of the origins of such cult and the offshoot branches of the pentecostal doctrine and practice.

OK, Gordon Lindsay was brainwashed, but what about all the preachers since who have promoted his stories? In this information age ignorance is a choice… or is it wilful deception?
Admitting that I am of a conspiratorial bent, my belief is that none of these people were genuine Christians by any measure; rather, the entire movement was fabricated by factions (or a faction) whose mission it was to corrupt the Christian faith, ruin the testimony of the church, and bring simple minded people who lacked discernment under control.
I believe that all of these men were nothing more than operatives being handled by agents who were carrying out the agenda.
Most of these so-called God's general have involved in big scam. We were so blindsided by the hype of those movements. Indeed, our mighty God never called these men.
My mother’s family was Pentecostal. My father anti-Pentecostal Baptist. I was raised in the Baptist church, hearing that Pentecostals were con men/women who fooled people and faked miracles. I heard from the other side that the Baptists were just ignorant of the truth. I believed the Pentecostal side. The last decades, I’ve been deconstructing and believe I was deceived by Pentecostal hype and con men.
