  1. Thank you for breaking down the details of this movement and the dangers of easy believing, for I had a false conversion at one point in my life, but I thank God He SAVED me in 2007. Salvation is of the Lord!

  2. Thank you brother for pointing out these false teacher/prophets and the work that you continue to do for our Lord Jesus Christ. May the good Lord bless you and all the work that you do.

  3. 15 Some, to be sure, are preaching Christ even from envy and strife, but some also from goodwill; 16 the latter do it out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel; 17 the former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition rather than from pure motives, thinking that they are causing me distress in my imprisonment. 18 What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed, and in this I rejoice. Are you rejoicing Christ is preached?

  4. I know about east believism and how some people just recite some empty words, but how else does someone receive Christ without praying? If it’s from the heart and the person cries out to God to forgive them and be their savior and Lord does God not answer that prayer? The thief on the cross said Lord remember me and he was saved. That seems pretty much like the sinners’ prayer except way shorter. He simply acknowledged his need for Christ. What else are you supposed to do. John 6:29 this is the work of God that you believe on Him whom he has sent. Romans 10:13 Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Not sure what else to do to be born again

  5. The thief on the cross…Lord remember me…….and he was saved
    John 3:16 Roman’s 10:13
How else does someone receive the gift of eternal life without asking Jesus to save them? I’m sure some people just recite the words but what about the people that mean it and their lives are radically changed?

  6. You say some truth, the truth that we are saved by grace through faith. But you say there is no decision, that's wrong, you have to decide to repent and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. Without that decision there is no being saved, yes it is for all of us, Jesus died on the cross for all of us but if I decide to go against God I'm not saved.

  7. Well Hells Bells! Becoming a Christian has to start SOMEWHERE. The sinner's prayer is agreeing to start the race.
Stop splitting hairs regarding how to begin a relationship with Christ.
You mr. Speaker of this YouTube video need to explain in detail how YOU became a Christian.

  8. Praying that people will wake up. Movies/T.V. shows don’t lead you to Christ. Only the Word can do this.

The LORD isn’t going to bless man made material over his own. Sad to see so many unbiblical excuses to justify the worldly wants.

  9. The biggest part of the Gospel that people seem to forget is the repentance… it's hard. It's painful… and it is totally against our sinful nature to do so, which is what Sola Gratia means. : ) God convicts you of your sin, shows you with a regenerated heart what you have done. It's not rainbows and unwashed hippies singing hymns. It's face down on the ground in repentance. It is a daily, hourly, even microsecond struggle, but with God's help and His wisdom, we can overcome through His grace and His power… not of our own doing. I am reminded of the parable of the Pharisee and Publican praying in the synagogue. Most of today's false doctrines rely on the Pharisaical version of the prayer… I choose… and that's the most un-biblical thing ever. Wide is the road that leads to destruction.

God chooses. We don't. We can't. Not without His intervention. And it is all for His glory, not ours. He is the potter. He chooses who to save for His glory alone. I thank God every day He chose me. I know what that means and it breaks my heart that I spent so long offending Him and His kingdom. If it were easy, Jesus wouldn't have talked about the narrow gate.

  10. Don’t intend in seeing the movie but wanted to know where you heard about the “open secret that he was having homosexual sex on the weekends”. Just watched his best friend read from LF’s biography and neither he or his best friend have said that but rather it was before knowing the Lord and even then it sounds like wasn’t a regular practice. Thanks.

  11. I came ‘of age’ in Southern California and my hometown church was closely affiliated with Campus Crusade for Christ. I struggled with wanting to be ‘cool’ and accepted, and had many acquaintances who fell in with the “Calvary Chapel” movement. I could never quite put my finger on what it was that turned me off of them so much, but I could never hang with their doctrine. I was raised in a church that had a wonderful Bible scholar as pastor. We went through the Bible verse by verse. Historical contexts, sociological influences at the time a passage was written, etc. And though I struggled living a sanctified life in Christ, the truth of His Word never left me. While I was not hung-ho on evangelizing beach goers with “4 Spiritual Laws” tracts from CRU as Campus Crusade is now called, the truth of that tract has also stuck with me. Your analysis of the “Jesus Movement” seems spot on. It remains to this day. Jesus Himself set the bar irrevocably in Himself. He is the ONLY religious leader who said, “I AM the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except by me.” John 14:6 Putting ‘guidelines’ of spirituality on public healings, speaking in ‘tongues’ (languages no one on earth speaks, understands, or can interpret) is leading people down a false road.
The whole charade around Lonnie Frisbee is even more appalling. It seems like, at least in the movie, Chuck was pastor of a dying, struggling church. Along comes a very charismatic young guy who can bring in the crowds. Charismatic young guy starts believing his own hype, the truth comes out about his immoral lifestyle, and old pastor distances himself. Now, the failings of the whole CC and Vineyard movements and doctrinal shortcomings in no way diminish the power of the Holy Spirit to use anyone or anything to bring someone to salvation, real and true.
I look at the 50+ yr legacy and see that charlatans like Morris Cerullo and Benny Hinn and their ilk have sprung up like crazy in the wake of the “Jesus-lite” movement.
I especially like how you keep drawing attention back to the life Jesus lived. He didn’t hang with the powerful and rich. They sought him out in the dead of night if they had a true awakening. He spent the preponderance of his ‘hang out’ time with thieves, disreputable fringe types, women of bad repute, swindlers, schemers, the dregs of society. He didn’t rail at them, demand they get on their knees, pray the ‘Sinner’s Prayer’. Shoot, ALL my prayers are ‘the sinner’s prayers’ because until I come face to face with my Redeemer, I will fail and still be a ‘sinner’. But I am redeemed by grace, through faith. And I press on toward the prize. God bless you and your thoughtful analysis.

  12. Great video Jordan, I was caught by many false preachers, even the one's you exposed, and more. Thank you and Bless you for the exposition.
❤🙏✌ P/S 8 years ago wife and I found John MacArthur, James White and many other solid preachers.

  13. Apparently u have the Christian life all figured out as a follower of Christ. & apparently God can’t use faulty people to preach His word. Explain to me all the freaks in the Bible who walked with Jesus and pinned the scriptures are they in heaven? It sounds like to me you have it all figured out 😂
Congrats on posting one of the most judgmental videos I have ever watched 🤦🏻‍♂️

  14. Jesús Revolution has been a Blessing me to my life God spoke to my life through this movie. We cnt go around Judging people we are sinners as well we have a lot of defects as well

  15. Just a comment about the sinner's prayer, what do you make then of John MacArthur using the same method in his book about knowing Jesus for kids? Where at the end he invites them to say a prayer that he lays out the general format for? Honestly just really curious about your thoughts on this. Thanks in advance.

  16. What I am not understanding is why you are anti praying with people a prayer asking for forgiveness. When you shared the gospel at the end it was great but why not pray with the person. The Bible does say that we must believe and also confess our faith.

  17. My sister went to a crusade in NYC of Greg Laurie and she was saved. Greg Laurie is doing a great work.

Greg talked about Lonnies deathbed repentant heart. Also that he wasnt living the homo lifestyle during his walk with Jesus. You can't speak FOR ANYONE'S soul!
Only God knows who is saved!
    Alice Cooper repented.

  18. Got saved at Calvary Chapel in the early 80s. Still walking with the Lord, studying scripture, praying for people to repent and return to God. I am an old woman now, in my mid 80s. God has saved my whole family, no lukewarm believers.

What I find disturbing, Christians warring against other Christians. Be careful how you judge and what falsehoods you spread.. We all will have to give an account to our Lord.

  19. Thank you for this video, I definitely understand where u are coming from and agree. This is y I was Hesitant at first to watch the movie but I end up watching it anyway. your video and biblical breakdown help me understand more why I felt Hesitant in the first place and I should always use the Bible as a “measuring stick” first beforehand. This is also y i don’t like saying believe in Jesus but rather say follow Jesus because it’s two different things, everyone “believes” in him but doesn’t follows him. Thank u for opening my eyes and furthering my understanding, God bless brother 🙏🏽

  20. Very good video and I agree with all that you have said about the movie. I never wanted to see it as I used to go to a church in Maui where Greg Laurie pastored. He was never kind, or said hello and seemed to only associate with the rich people in the church and other leaders, but could care less for the regular people in the congregation. I found his preaching to be more like a comedy hour and entertaining, rather than spiritually uplifting and bringing me closer to Jesus Christ. He talke easy believism and never spoke about repenting and what awaited those to did not repent. There were a lot of young people who lived together and fornicated, and he never spoke about immorality and the consequences of sin. It was always a light hearted message with no real substances.

  21. The church didn't let them dictate. They did as Jesus did. Everyone was welcome. Jesus wasn't an upright stuffed shirt. He walked among the people, the poor, the infirm and every type of dinner. I just wish people today actually knew who Jesus was and is. It gets old listening to people lie about Him constantly.

  22. I saw the movie. It was a huge blessing to everyone in the theater. People don't listen to a sounding gong. Watch it for yourselves. There is nothing worth watch in the theater more than this movie. Secular movie or a movie about the Jesus movement. That talks about Jesus and him being your salvation.

  23. Although Laurie and Frisbee are indeed fake wicked soodoomites masquerading as Christians, salvation is easy. Believing is also easy. To say salvation is hard is to say that works are involved. The guy preaching is also a fake Christian. Too many of these people in the world.
