  1. Good morning Mr Judge, today, I think I will flood your comment and if you do not listen to me and you attack me, I'm most likely not going to do so again.

The first thing I want to say is that I believe there's a little bit of sentiment in your words or approach. You're speaking from outside or from pain. While there are some things you say and you are correct (I'll give you kudos), there are some things you say that are totally as a result of lack of adequate understanding.

Please pardon me, I do not mean that you aren't brilliant or intelligent, I give it to you that you are. But this lack of adequate understanding I'm talking about stems from relationship with God and experience. You can't understand some things except you are there, there is a level of knowledge that only experience and relationship will bring.

Please, strengthen your relationship with God, years from now, you will not believe you said some things you are currently saying.

  2. So, let's talk about the doubt.

I function dominantly(as someone said) as a prophet. You have no idea of how much I check and double check on the message God gives me to people before I share it with them.

If he says he has to ask the Holy Spirit, I see it as a sign of humility because he is human and he can be wrong, and acknowledging the Holy Spirit as the supreme knowledge is a sign of humility. So if you see anything wrong with him asking the Holy Spirit, I don't know what to say to you.

At least, I believe with that act, he is better than many pastors who will just go headlong and will not even check if they are right or wrong.

Another reason why I will not fault him for that is because we are servants of God and depending on that God always is a sign of servanthood(still leading to humility).

  3. Now, let's look at the context of what you said about 2 Corinthians 8:9.

You feel he is speaking out of the context of that scripture because he is attributing the scripture to material gain and you infer that that scripture is solely talking about spiritual wealth.

You are the one that always says "facts over sentiments", "Exergesis over eisegesis"

Did you check out that scripture in other versions, e.g, Complete Jewish Bible(CJB) or did you check out the meaning of that wealth or riches mentioned in that scripture in the Bible concordance? Because if you do, you will realise that what the word riches or wealth means is actually material things and other extensions. So when Paul said Christ became poor so we can be rich or wealthy, it's not limited to material gain but it covers material gains too.

While you are right about the context, your opinion is one side of a coin, while his opinion is the other and the two make a whole, rather than one overriding another.

Hence, he is not wrong to infer material gain, check the records.

This is what happens when sentiments step in, you become blind to details.

Please note these things and make the necessary corrections.

  4. To say Jesus was not talking about material blessing is strange to the context. To claim that Paul was talking about spiritual riches is to read an extraneous meaning into the text. There is nothing spiritual in the context. Poverty is part of the consequences of the fall of man, just like sickness. Have you ever asked yourself if there would be poverty or sickness if there were no fall? The answer is no. That doesn't mean people fall sick or become poor because they have sinned particularly. It's just the effect of the fall on humanity, which the devil has brought upon them. We can look to Calvary to destroy all the works of the devil, including sin and all its attendant consequences (sickness, curse, poverty, etc.).

However, contrary to what Ibeyiome said, Jesus did not hate sinners or refuse to associate with them. He was called a friend of sinners. Likewise, Jesus did not hate poor people. Many of his disciples were poor, yet he loved them and associated with them. Romans 8:32 summarizes it all:

"He who did not spare his own Son but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?"

His death gave us access to all things. That doesn't mean we will have a billion naira in our account. It means we can have all we need when we need it, because God will not withhold anything from us.

  5. Hi George, I understand where you're coming. I acknowledge and appreciate the analytical approach in breaking down your points. The truth is for some of us that use this analytical approach in understanding teachings, some others may see it as not being spiritually connected enough to see some deep truths, however that's not the case.

There has to be a balance of rational exposition on the back of a spiritual understanding of the scriptures and a relationship with God but most people either sink too deep in a false sense of "spirituality" that they lose their ability to reason. On the other hand, you have some pastors that understand how to manipulate "spiritually" knowing fully well that most of their followers don't take time to analyze the words spoken.

I said all this to say, keep being objective and humble in speaking the truth, those who are willing to learn more like the Bereans will, and those who don't , will sink further in their ignorance.

  6. Jesus was born into a poor family. His disciples he called were all poor. He visited Lazarus and Peter's home whom are both poor. Martha wouldn't have been busy cooking when Jesus visited them that she even called for her sister's help if they had maids. It was the rich then that had maids Jesus disciples were never rich when they walked with Jesus and even after His resurrection being new testament believers. Overall Jesus closest associates whom he walked with every day were poor. They were so poor that they didn't have money to feed the hungry people in John 6

  7. I pity all the poor in salvation ministries. He's clearly told them that he Ibiyeome hates them yet he loves collecting their tithes and offering . That they shouldn't ever expect him to visit them or ever think of having access to him. They had better understand the message passed to them. They repulse Ibiyeome 😂😂 Ibiyeome was not talking about God, he was indirectly talking about himself because he is God to his members. He's not different from Bennyhinn who hates Indians whom he said are smelly yet he went there just to get their money. A word is enough for the wise. End of discussion 😂

  8. Kenneth Hagin is not the spearhead of the prosperity gospel rather Kenneth Copeland. If you read Kenneth Hagin's books his main focus is on FAITH and how to be led by the Holy Spirit.
