Whew! The advice that Pastor Jakes gave is speaking to me and my future. So good. Soooo good. I think Christians that grew up in church have such a problem with focusing on self and self care. We have been given the message to not be selfish, be a servant, ect… we need more messages in church about self love and self care ❤
All though he (TD) cleaned it up from created to contributed as far as pain for women. I’m glad Jason said cleared it up by saying men and women are in pain and until we get over that there can be no real healing.
This was so good from me to hear, my take away was there also some good things about the parent who was not there, it was not all bad. I am on my own journey where I need to see the father in heaven who really loves me fully and not through the lens with the love from my earthly father.
