If I may say after reading your info for this sermonโฆplease don't let this only be about black people. I am one of the most oppressed people I've seen. Most men are at least heard by each other but WOMENโฆand just because I'm white trust me I AM NOT PRIVILEGED. I can't even get into college. Let it be about us all. I've been set up more than once and they took my kids, I've always been told to shut up and then I realized it was because when I speak, I speak myself into the truth God wants me to hear.
The answer to your question I YES!! Black lives matter. BUT if we continue to segregate race there will continue to be racism. If you in any way think Martin Luther King Jr was Iconic, a leader, a man with a visionโฆthen you know he had a dream that one day his 4 little children wouldn't be judged by the color of their skin, but by their character. That one day all black children would hold hands with all white children. That sons of slaves and sons of slaves owners would sit down together and be able to talk. All men are created equal. He says it way better. One of the best speeches I've ever heard. The emotion in his voice is moving and needed and felt. Passion is what drives a person to make a change. I have a dream as well.โค
