  1. I've been medidating on this chapter for over a month now. One thing I also noticed is that the foundations of the heavens shook and trembled first (vs 8) then the foundations of the earth were discovered

  4. Notes: INDIANA UNIVERSITY CAMPUS APOSTOLIC CONFERENCE || INDIANA, USA || APST AROME OSAYI || 21ST FEB. 2025

    Speaker: Dr Apostle Arome Osayi
    Introduction
    Theme:
Understanding the significance of spiritual separation, divine breath, and dominion in fulfilling God's purpose.

    Key Scriptures:
Genesis 13:14-15 – "And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art… for all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever."
2 Samuel 22:4-16 – The power of prayer and the supernatural effects it triggers.
John 20:19-22 – Jesus breathed on His disciples, saying, “Receive ye the Holy Ghost.”
Romans 6:11 – “Reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Isaiah 11:2-3 – “And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord.”
    Purpose:
To highlight how spiritual perception, divine breath, and dominion are essential for believers to walk in their God-ordained destiny.

    Main Teachings
    1. The Power of Spiritual Separation (Genesis 13:14-15)
Before Abraham could see what God had for him, there had to be a separation from Lot.
Spiritual perception is hindered when one is entangled in relationships, mindsets, or distractions that limit divine vision.
The extent to which you see in the spirit determines how much of God’s inheritance you can walk into.
The believer must be willing to make tough decisions to align with divine purpose.
    2. The Dynamics of the Breath of God
    A. The First Breath – The Breath of Life (Genesis 2:7)
Given by Jehovah Elohim to Adam.
    Made man a living soul.
Enabled natural intelligence, creativity, and dominion over the earth.
    Limited to the natural realm.
Made man susceptible to satanic influence through the mind.
    B. The Second Breath – The Holy Spirit (John 20:21-22)
Given by Jesus to His disciples.
Imparted divine life, enabling spiritual function.
Activated spiritual authority and dominion in the supernatural realm.
Allowed believers to operate in alignment with God’s will.
Empowered man to live above the manipulation of the enemy.
    3. The Power of Prayer and Divine Intervention (2 Samuel 22:4-16)
David describes the supernatural impact of calling upon God.
Prayer is not just communication but an act that provokes divine reactions.
When God breathes or acts, the foundations of the earth are shaken, strongholds are dismantled, and deliverance is manifested.
Many believers fail to understand the unseen power of their prayers due to a lack of spiritual perception.
    4. The Role of Spiritual Perception in Dominion (Isaiah 11:2-3)
The Holy Spirit enhances perception beyond the natural senses.
Spiritual vision allows believers to see God’s plans, avoid satanic traps, and operate in divine wisdom.
Like Peter in Acts 10, a believer must be attuned to divine instructions even when they challenge personal ideologies.
    Illustration: The SIM Card Analogy

A phone without a SIM card can function to some extent (calculations, music, etc.), but it cannot make calls.
Similarly, without the Holy Spirit, a believer may have knowledge but lacks divine connectivity.
The Holy Spirit activates spiritual functions necessary for kingdom impact.
    Illustrations and Examples
Abraham’s Separation from Lot (Genesis 13:14-15)

Separation brought clarity and access to divine inheritance.
    Peter’s Vision (Acts 10)

Heaven had made a decision regarding the Gentiles, but Peter initially resisted due to his cultural mindset.
Spiritual growth requires a willingness to align with divine revelation.
David’s Prayer and the Supernatural Response (2 Samuel 22)

When David prayed, divine manifestations followed—earthquakes, thunder, and deliverance.
Many believers pray without realising the spiritual impact their prayers create.
    Practical Applications
    Cultivate Spiritual Sensitivity

Engage in prayer and fasting to heighten spiritual perception.
Train yourself to recognise God’s voice through Scripture.
Walk in the Power of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is not just an experience but a new operating system.
Depend on Him for decisions, guidance, and strength.
Overcome the Manipulations of the Enemy

Recognise that the enemy’s primary attack is through the mind.
Counter negative thoughts with the Word of God.
    Exercise Dominion Through Prayer

Pray with the understanding that your words shake spiritual foundations.
Take authority over situations through the power of Christ in you.
    Key Takeaways
Separation precedes revelation—believers must let go of hindrances to see clearly.
The breath of life made man a living soul, but the breath of the Spirit enables divine function.
Spiritual perception determines the level of dominion a believer operates in.
Prayer is a powerful tool that activates divine intervention in both seen and unseen realms.
The enemy’s strategy is to manipulate the mind to keep believers from walking in their full authority.
    Conclusion
Understanding the breath of God, spiritual perception, and dominion is crucial for believers to function as God intended. The journey of faith requires separation, alignment, and spiritual discipline to fully operate in the divine realm.

Every believer must make the choice: How far do you want to go with God? The extent of your spiritual sight determines the level of your inheritance.

May we awaken to the power within us and fully exercise our dominion in Christ!
