That was dumb for that pastor not to take the gun to defend his family. It's good to rely on faith, but God had given him the chance to use the gun, but he missed the opportunity. There is nothing non-Christian about defending your family. Also, the Holy Bible says to "Reverence no man." People are to call ministers pastors or elders, but not to call them REVEREND!!!
That was dumb for the wife to say to her daughter, "God will deliver us." God had delivered them when she had the gun, but she was dumb enough to give the gun to the crooks. That did not make any sense for God to let her get a weapon to defend herself, but then she turned over the gun into the hand of the enemy to use against her. God will not do for us what we can do for ourselves!!! That part of the movie did not make sense!!!
