  2. Idia displays ingenuity, insight, talent, compassion, a willingness to help, a very good work ethic. So why couldn't she figure out how to open a bank account and save money in it knowing how wicked her stepmother and step-sister were? Her fluctuation between being strong and being milque-toast is so strange. When she gave her gift to her sister on demand was outrageous. When she came home with her extra-money in her bag with new clothes instead of having put it in the bank was unfathomable. Why didn't she plan to move out so as to have peace? The abuse that people take is mind-boggling. And why does the disabled father think that this young healthy vibrant young lady would want to be tied down to him, especially when the natural attraction between Chidi and Idia is so apparent? Shoutout to the stepmom because she is so dramatic! I love her characterizations!Whether she plays a good person or a wicked person, she's good!
