Can someone explain why kitchen cabinets and bedroom closets are placed so high that the average person needs a ladder to access the shelves and rods? What is the point of that? A low stepstool for the kitchen cabinets is as high as the upper shelves should be built. Same for the top shelf of any bedroom closet. The rod should be easily reachable.
