  2. The performances in this movie were outstanding! πŸ‘ I loved how Ndanti wasn't afraid to speak her truth and tell certain people exactly how it was. I really enjoyed watching the story unfold. While I could understand Ocheoho’s passion and commitment to his calling, part of me wished he had been a little more patient & understanding with his wife. ❀️ It was his calling from the beginning, not hers, and I can imagine she may have felt overwhelmed or caught off guard by everything that came with it.

One thing that left me thinking was the question of love and faithfulness. If you truly love someone as deeply as Essien said he did, why risk hurting them through cheating? πŸ€”πŸ’” Great casting, great performances, and a story that sparks conversation. I definitely encourage others to give this film a watch!

  8. Watching this on Sunday morning and I feel like this is my sermon. Here’s a list of what I learned:
    1. Make it a practice to spend time hearing from God, even if it’s for 10 minutes daily.
    2. Don’t beat yourself up about your imperfections. Even Mummy G. O’s confrontational personality eventually saved a home. All things work together for good.
    3. Partial obedience is still disobedience
    4. When you are not yielding or willing, you may not hear from God. Mummy G.O. didn’t hear until she started yielding and coming for fellowship again.
    5. Sometimes God uses people to forcefully push us out of our old season and into our destiny. It may look like hate at the time, but do not resent them. All things will eventually work out for good, as that was God redirecting Pastor to his next level.
    6. There is a thing that leads to a thing. We rarely ever see the full picture of what God is calling us to, but as we take the first step, He keeps revealing Himself as in that dream.
    7. Do not give up on people in ther season of disobedience. God will eventually redeem them, but it may take some time and it is not your place to force or judge them.
    8. Jesus doesn’t need your perfection. Come as you are. Authenticity is a virtue in itself.
    9. You can tell love stories without compromising. Even the affair was depicted so easily, no raunchy scenes but we understood the plot.
    10. Buy a book and write about your journey with God. It’s your own scripture that will show how far you’ve come and how much God is impacting your life.
Bonus: Buy a hard copy Bible… e get why.

Thanks for this amazing movie. It really inspired me.
