@Delana Shuhler But what is your evidence that the bible is the truth? There is eveidence that the bible has been edited and manipulated severeal times throughout history to fit the people in power who abused it to control the common people so that they could benefit from it. So how do you know for sure that following it is not the wrong path in disguise? As Christians often say “the devil is a master of disguise” and the ultimate way to hide would be to pose as god and making the people worship him while they think that they are worshiping God. For example people have been fighting wars in the name of God many times eventhough killing is a sinn. What if they where killing for satan in the name of God. That would be the ultimate way for satan to mock god as well. Making gods followers do satans deeds and sinn in the name of God while thinking they where doing something good. Both you and I probably know that killing is wrong but yet Christians have done it many times in the name of god throughout history and that is a fact.

And as for those self made Christians who do bad things, they don’t exist in God’s eyes and He doesn’t know them. And for what you said about needing to see proof and understanding, there are plenty of proofs and some that you experience everyday and understanding you have that already but you’re a fool possessed, so you block truth from penetrating your mind and soul and you won’t allow it to go in you. But Jesus the Lord works the other way around, he shows himself and the truth to those who humble themselves and believe the things that are in the Bible.

@Kim Olsson You don’t believe in God or any other religion because of bad things some Christians do but you believe in good and love as if people don’t go around doing bad things by acting like they’re good, that’s makes no sense but whatever.

@Kim Olsson Jesus is the only way of salvation because He is the only One who can pay our sin penalty ( Romans 6:23 ). No other religion teaches the depth or seriousness of sin and its consequences. No other religion offers the infinite payment of sin that only Jesus Christ could provide. The BIBLE clearly teaches that a person cannot earn their way into Heaven. No effort or deed, no. Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance[a]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, This is the gospel according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. Only those who understand they are sinners and mourn their sins will seek God and ask to be forgiven. Repentance does not help a person earn salvation or help someone go to heaven. Repentance is a necessary condition and desire within the person that motivates them to seek God. Repentance is a gift from God and not a work (Acts 11:8; 2 Timothy 2:25). None of us are good and we need to be saved! How you are saved: For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead , you will be saved. @Kim Olsson I am a living testimony of what God has done and can do. Those who do evil today have the chance to still repent and accept Jesus. The enemy is sadly the god of this world and is planting this seed of evil and mankind is following because of the sinful nature being the flesh. Satan is here to steal, kill and destroy. He is the ultimate deceiver and is doing that in the world today and especially with creating fear with this virus along with hate and division. Original sin goes back to the story of Adam and Eve in the Bible when they ate the forbidden fruit. The evidence I have that the Holy Bible is the truth is the Holy Spirit that lives inside me leading me to the truth which is in the Holy Bible. Without the Holy Spirit we will not understand things of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit teaches us the ways of God. Many will come to deceive and this is including false prophets. That is why it is so important to refer to the Holy Bible for answers. God is not going to tell us to do evil to anyone because He says in the New Testament that we are to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind and second love our neighbor as ourselves. The Old Testament speaks more of killings and God’s wrath against mankind but reference what happens when Jesus comes to the world in the New Testament. He was used as the ultimate sacrifice for everyones’ sins when He died on the cross. The truth is only through Jesus Christ and He is the only one who can get us to Heaven. We are to die to our sins and live in Christ allowing the spirit to guide us rather than our flesh. “When we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead we will be saved.” Romans 10 9-10. No religion can save us only Jesus can. Look to those versus I told you about salvation. We cannot earn our way to Heaven nor buy it.
