I think you need to walking with the Holy Spirit. He will help you see more and understand what he his saying.
Majorly, he uses references to teach and he does this to gain one’s attention first before he starts the teaching. Just get interested in the story first and you will know where he his navigating to.
Deep teaching – Every child of God is a vital piece, like a block in a grand structure. It is God who determines the role and placement of each block in His divine construction. Some blocks will be cut in half to fit the corners. Our complete submission to God is essential, allowing Him to utilize us in any manner He chooses for the construction of His spiritual house.
