Making habits is incredibly important! I have read that it takes around 66 days to make a habit (before you need to fight with yourself to achieve a thing). Praying with your kid 5 times a day, encouraging them to do it helps them to keep it up once they grow up because thats something they have always been doing then rather that a new thing they have to get used to
Another tip is to make Islam part of the family culture. My mom used to read to me about the Prophets’ lives as my bedtime stories and have Quran play in the car or on the radio in the kitchen as she cooked. This made me have fond memories related to the Quran because it was tied to so many sentimental things and established Islamic basics for me because of the bedtime stories.

i am a muslim, have a son who is over 20, but i have the same problem how should i make him or start listening to Allah's words and read the quran, he is not a believer every time he comes to visit me, i talk to him but he does not listen, until one day he told me, I do not believe in anything, it made me sad and worried. please can someone give me tips what should i do and how? thanks
Ma shaa Allah we muslims should realise that falling in love and and being intimate is part of our creation. Parents understand that your children will fall in love when their older. Plz listen to my poems and I hope that you find them enjoyable and helpful. https://youtu.be/9Wh8f0DaVdA. This was my first video but there are more by, Vigilant Riser
Actually try to make your child understand on how Allah gave us so much example the air we breath in and out and feel shy and ashame to Allah living in this world and yet disobey his comandment.
Quran: And in no way did I create the jinn and humankind except to worship Me. 51:56 The word for worship is Ibadah. Its such a shame that I see lots of parents who have moulded Islam into praying. Ibadah is so much more than that. The parents need to live Islam and the children will see the values of the way of life. Not just get them to do things out of habit because there will be no love attached to it. We have internalised Islam and this will lead to our destruction as a society as we would not care about our neighbour.
I'm 17 and ever since when I was a little the reason why I love praying and reading Qur'an (alhamdulillah) because of Allah and because my mom used to recite the whole juz of the Qur'an when she was still carrying me during her pregnancy. Perhaps thats a little tip for those mothers out there 😊
Assalamualikum sister hina, Thank you for making the educational clip, sister hina, is it ok to download your story clip and than upload it to our channel. Thank you
this is really helpful , especially for us reverts who came to Islam with children of older ages. most advice is given to people who don't yet have children, people who were already raised in a Muslim family , or those with young children . teens get left out on a lot of issues
Assalamu aleikum. The first thing we should do for our children to pray, read Quran and other religious practices is making dua to Allah Subhaana wo Taala.
Motivation is important, we need to encourage the children
I think forcing works mostly with Asians

What a wonderful sister.
Poor kids. I'm sure the parents are loving and caring. That's how it should be, after all. Still, poor kids.
So true!

Wonderful content i must say, but let me be very honest, the beauty of this speaker is a distraction, try wearing a complete niqab imho

Good
I am Sri lankan woman. I love one Pakistan. I want to come in Islam.
Prayer is wrong when you make it a habit. Make it with conscience and everyday is a day of heavenly peace.
Ma Sha Allah. The way you educate the youth about the Deen is exemplary indeed.
