  1. I need some advice, because I don't know what else to do.  I have a 14 year old son that is completely unmotivated to do his work.  Now I've already taken everything away, create a reward system, counseling,  prayer and more.  Has anyone ever had to deal with this problem or know anyone who has.  I'm to the point of trying to figure out how to raise money to send him to a military boarding school

  2. I think this would make more sense if this video started from the end. I would switch the steps around. Relationship and calmness need to be taught first. I think the relationship being focus would even help us watching to receive this message. Most of us are adverse to even hearing the word rules or discipline and shut down. So many studies are showing that its the relationship that makes the difference. Correction without relationship equals rebellion. My plan is to copy your steps starting with the last things first. Thanks for these tips.

  3. So I have a 16 year old that speaker into my 14 year to misbehaving. All because I will not let him leave the house. My 16 year has learn this behavior for other people. He was a great kids happy he listen and not I Really see the same way the other people got to my son is the way he is getting my 14 year. I did get help but that didn't go no where. It stayed in the problem area for everyday with the help. I had to even tell the help to move from this problem area its the same thing everyday.

  4. Children need consequences for their behavior. No such thing as perfect. How many of your children came from Trauma? Each child is unique. Each child needs their own set of boundaries. You cannot lump everyone in a box.
