  1. This touched my heart but lets remember that today's blacks are free, they can go to school, college, get married, work or anything they want. we should not have hatred between white and black but freedom for everyone.

  2. We give god thanks for the courage and the strength to endure what ever may come our way and the peace he put in our hearts when life get tough we will continue not to give up and not to be quite when the wrong is made to be make right🙏

  3. Well done… black people sufon those days, me as Latina I don't see color all that I see that we are created equal, all of us has red blood in our veins….. those years pass finally but still hurt OUR hearts..

  4. just one story in an endless sea. It’s hard to put in to words the endless suffering that still ripples today. In schools, neighborhoods, society as a whole.
the endless fears portrayed are universal.
I don’t think there is a way to repair the past other than to correct the future.

  5. I feel sad that white people are making us look bad…..I wouldn't treat a soul the way they treat them all….god forgive you all for what you all went through….my prayers goes to every one of you….🙏🙏🙏♥♥♥♥

  6. My relatives left North Carolina on covered wagons, anyone who crossed over their names was changed to REED, anyone who stayed in North Carolina, there last name stayed REID,so when people ask me my last name I always spell my name , because I know their is two ways to spell REED.

  7. Great movie! Just sad reading the comments how everyone says how they are STILL treated and I truly hate knowing racism is still that bad but frfr today it's evolved full circle and it's NOT just against black and if anything every race is picked at NOT in the same way but never the less still picked at for SOMETHING! ITS JUST SAD!

  8. I say to whites "IF YOU HATE, YOU CAN UNDERSTAND BEING HATED – IF YOU KILL, YOU CAN UNDERSTAND BEING KILLED." Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia – History of slavery ( It backs up Biblical Scriptures )
KJV 1611: Exodus 21:16 And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.
Isaiah 14:2 And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.
So-called slaves were HEBREWS. They are the same people Moses freed from Egypt that ended up "THE ATLANTIC SLAVE TRADE VICTIMS." Hebrews NEVER had African names, not even while abducted from West Africa when forced on ships.
Deuteronomy 28:68 And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you. Hmmm, yeah.
