Excellent video, only one correction. The definition of religion – “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.” James 1:27 KJV
Pure religion is charity (love) and holiness, which are commandments from God – love God, love your neighbour, love yourself and be holy for I AM Holy. So when people accuse others of being religious it is a misnomer. What you should accuse them of is trying to be saved by their works like other false religions like Islam. There is nothing wrong with pure undefiled religion according to James 1:27.
I'm a grown man, and just over Christmas I showed my wife the film I watched as a child. I even cried at a few points because I understood it better now. Great film!

@2:11 while I am not denying the symbolism, I think in the movie, bottom of his palms have blisters from using the shovel so much, and maybe he scraped or cut the top of his hand. If he actually had a piercing through his hand, he'd have been in the hospital and had stitches and that hand would be in a full cast. Or, it could be frostbite damage. Notice the open blister/boil on his ring finger, too.
Very interesting view of "Home Alone". The writers of the best fictional stories and screenplays knowingly or unknowingly wrote using Bible based parallels showing good versus evil. Even the ones with foul language (which I don't condone) like "Gran Torino" with an ending that demonstrated sacrificing oneself so that someone else may live and live in abundance.
There is a difference between using "Christian imigary" and being a "christian movie" No Question the movie leans into Americ's pop culture, christianity during Christmas as just well… appropriate. The film however is about a right of passage or a coming-of-age and is focused on "OVERCOMING FEAR" replay the film and listen to how many time he says "I am not afraid anymore" or tells thes the furnace to shut up. the voice of fear is in his mind, and by standing up to it he overcomes the first level… if you want a Biblical breakdown I can help you with that:
This is all True I Love Jesus Amen but this Movie isn't a Christian Movie because the focus isn't on God it's on a little Kid who's doing torturing painful acts on 2 Criminals to protect himself and his House and possessions and don't call our Movies "Cheesy" because those Movies are actually Christian Movies because God is the focus in those Movies but the HA Movies Series isn't for us because it doesn't focus on God

I miss the times when movies were good.
Alot of movies were Christian back then. Even Forest Gump is Christian. Not sure what made Hollywood so vehemently anti Christian

Braveheart in Independence Day had a lot of symbolism and REVELATIONS.
This is a stretch, but yes it's a great movie.
