The word healed comes from the Hebrew word rapha which can mean either physical healing or spiritual healing as in the following examples. Psa 41:4 KJV I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal [rapha] my soul; for I have sinned against thee. Jer 3:22 KJV Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal [rapha] your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God. Hos 14:4 KJV I will heal [rapha] their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.
Thank you Pastor Moore, the Assemblies of God teaches this. I was born with a very deformed leg and foot and some of the horrible things I was told was just so wrong. I am so glad I left the AOG in 2004.
