  1. Prayer, supplications, and thanksgiving are three powerful things. The Israelites complained so much that they destroyed any hope of Moses entering the promised land. What did God do, he left them in the desert. They all died. Except for two of them, Joshua and Caleb. The more we complain, the more our problems remain. So papa is right. God is not our servant. We need to praise God more and more.

  2. God works through human agencies that is why He institutes authority. The question where is your God is a response to the impotence of those in authority. Our leaders have abrogated their authority by their failure to perform their duties.

  3. All that he said is still okay. People didn't hear him asking Mr Trump to come over to our rescue in Nigeria. So far as an elder statesman and father of faith in Nigeria, what he has said did prove his support for the Tinubu government at all.

  4. Pastor Adeboye has not said anything wrong. It is so sad that many youths, especially the supporters of opposition politicians, believe that they should always insult those who are not agreeing with the politicians they idolise as their leaders. The biggest culprits are the so called "obidients". It is an extremists and negative thinking to always insist that everything nothing good should be seen in Tinubu. We know that things are hard. But abusing elders and those who do not agree with your style of talking is not rational.

  5. It is extremists thinking to always say that nothing good should be seen in thinking. People who think like this believe that it us only the politicians they are supporting that should be idolise as saints or miracle workers.
Tinubu may not be perfect, but you cannot dispute his sincere intentions to make Nigeria better than the way he met it. However, Tinubu should not believe those who are praising him as very fantastic. He has obviously not done enough, but still has a chance to do better. One of the good things he can do is free education at all levels for Nigerians. Student Loans program is not an inclusive arrangement. It is not far reaching enough to be seen as an inclusive poverty alleviating program.

  6. Pastor Adeboye is entitled to his opinion which he has expressed.
However, relating it the reality on ground, one may have to ask; what are the indices of measuring the performances of the President? In his performances, has the President demonstrated absolute accountability in all spheres of governance?
Management school teaches that when you ascend the ladder of leadership in the corporate space, you acquire both assets and liabilities of your new position without proffering excuses and proceed with the best strategy possible to transit the liabilities into assets as best as possible.
In most countries where economic reforms have taken place, their governments always introduce palliative measures to cushion the effects on the citizens to enable them adapt gradually into the economic reforms regimen. This has not happened with our government. How do you explain the President buying a Presidential aircraft to add to the fleet making it a total of 15 Presidential Aircrafts at this time of hardship. It beats my sense of economics and he gets a thumbs up.
I believe most people would call out Pastor Adeboye on this statement because of the sensitive nature of our present realities and Pastor Adeboye should have been careful to avoid the conversation around his statement of the President "trying" against the background that there has been plenty criticisms of his disposition to the present Presidency, given the fact that both RCCG members worldwide, christians and other in their generality see Pastor Adeboye as a respected global spiritual leader.

  7. We all know where those who describe men of God as fools come from. Their foolishness will never allow them to achieve their narrow objectives. The only thing they know how to do is to carry drugs and denigrate Nigeria anywhere they find themselves. They will never be able to graduate from foolishness to where God wants them to be because Mammon is their god.

  8. All of you speaking evil against God's servant and son, or those encouraging these kinds of conversation and arguments, please remember that Jesus, while on earth NEVER CRITICIZED CAESAR OR ANY OTHER GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL. Yet the Romans were a colonial government.

When John the Baptist was arrested and later beheaded, did you see Jesus protesting??????? Did you see Him organising any rallies or protest? He kept on preaching, healing and delivering. He didn't rescue John, neither did He protest.

You people should go and understand what's in the Bible befre you utter words that will doom you forever, after all, by our words we are justified and also by our words, we are condemned(Matt 12v37)

  9. You see the problem you put yourself? Now you have to explain and explain and explain. Because you failed to stay in your lane. Pastors don't dabble into politics. Pastors duty is to offer prayers for those in authorities. You don't fraternized yourself with politicians. You don't get yourself involved in choosing a king for towns. If you have any information for those in authorities you take it to them in private. Just see all the embrassment that you have brought to yourself and the Church of Christ. And no amount of bold face and stubbornness is enough sir. You are dealing with Nigerians, very intelligent people.
