  1. Let the words of my mouth
and the meditation of my heart,

    be acceptable in Your sight,

O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer.

    Psalm 19 : 14 (ESV)

It makes you think, don't it? That if some words of worship are said, impromptu – with nary any deep thought behind them (as in to test the air), how much more power in a focussed, determined word of prayer?

    Food for thought.

Walk by faith, Body of Christ, NOT by sight.

  2. Everything this guy just shared about a man coming to Jesus upon hearing the Gospel goes against everything a reforned pastor preaches about TULIP!
Its confusing to hear Spurgeon speak out, and a man coming to faith upon hearing the Gospel and yet teach everyone is 'predestined' before the foundation of the world for heaven or hell? The whole Calvinist/reformed doctrines are insane. Even reformed preacher like Spurgeon preach a Gospel they themselves don't even adhere too! But praise God, He is no respecter of men!!!

  3. The Word of God carried through a vessel unlike today's prideful, cold hearted, rockstar. Spurgeon's writings (thus many sermons) were just different than you get today. A man of God, instead of a man after worship and exaltation so very common now. Not yet perfected, yet with a humility unseen today.

  4. Charles Spurgeon said that he preached to everyone even those who God decided were doomed from the womb because he could not see the “E” on the backs of the ones God wanted to save.

  5. Great story, but Spurgeon's idea of doing a sound check in an empty hall to prepare for a speech in a full hall made no sense! One thing has nothing in common with the other. But the Lord knew that the worker needed to hear Jesus proclaimed! Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.

  6. I’m sorry don’t give the guy credit
It’s the in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit let by Yeshua Himself. The spirit goes where it wants.
    One sheep at a time.

  7. So let's all bow down before the great god Charles Spurgeon and pay homage to his most excellent name. 🤪 Blessing, and glory, and honour, and power be unto the great and holy Spurgeon for he has saved us by his awesome preaching powers 😕☹

  8. Great story but I’m not sure if I understand the commentator’s point. It really should be no surprise when we hear a story of repentance and faith coming to someone who truly hear the very words of God. EVERYTIME a spiritually blind, dead in their sins, sinner finally sees Christ as their Savior it’s a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit and the verse Spurgeon quoted should remind all of us to continue to keep our eyes on Christ as well.

  9. I can like the part about Spurgeon and the power of the word of God. But PLEASE stop saying that people give their heart to Jesus. Nowhere in Scripture is that terminology used. We repent and confess with our mouths the Lord Jesus and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead. We then GET A NEW HEART as a part of the NEW Covenant. We don’t give Jesus anything when we’re saved. HE gives us a new life.

  10. Wait, did this man not go to church? Not share his testimony? Not tell how was saved by hearing the Word of God from the mouth of Charles Spurgeon? Why would he wait till his death bed? I tell people I heard Billy Graham speak in early 80's.

  11. I had heard they ran him off
just like they did Johnathan Edwards
    Charles Spurgeon died young
Edwards went on to become President of Princeton University
    now a liberal University
    Harvard was a Pastoral College
    now a liberal University
Men hate the word of God

  12. It's not the preaching of Charles Spurgeon that saved anyone but the Word of God…… Charles Spurgeon was a chosen vessel of God, but it's God and and God alone who saves by His Word….. Bible is very clear about it, " Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God ". Romans 10:17….. Mr. Spurgeon was himself saved by the word of God @ age 15 by verse 22 of book of Isaiah, chapter 45, check out the beautiful verse and God's promise…..Blessings !!

  13. If God has already elected who to save and condemned who to perish, then I am wondering what was the point of Jesus dying on the cross? And why did He give us the gift of free will ? Is it me or Are we all reading the same Book, The word of God ? Evidently NOT!

  14. ☝️😇📖 A PERFECT example of:

    Isaiah 55:11 (NASB1995)
    [11] So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth;

It will not return to Me empty,

    Without accomplishing what I desire,

And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.

  15. Spurgeon never preached the Truth ( Torah) he preached Catholic doctrine. He was a SUNday worshiper and bowed to Rome. Yahushua (falsely called Jesus/ J-Zeus 400 years ago) WARNS YOU HOW TO ENTER THE KINGDOM. It is not a sinner's prayer and then remaining a sinner ( torah transgressor but the very definition).
Mat 5:17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law [TORAH] or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to FULLY PREACH (Greek: pleroo) them. Mat 5:18  For truly, I say to you, until shamayim (pw heaven) and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law [TORAH]until all is accomplished. Mat 5:19  Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of shamayim (pw heaven), but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of shamayim. Mat 5:20  For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of shamayim (pw heaven).
