As an SDA, its kinda sureal, to have had someone among us become such a familiar and respected name, but we also need to remember that he didnt want to be remmebered as an SDA, he wanted to be remembered as a man of God, a brother, and the hands that God used to save so many lives in the war. He never once gloated, never once took the credit, in his eyes all of it came from God, and thats what really makes his story special. What he did is incredible, but what makes him stand out is his absolute denial of self-glorification. He's a war hero, and a man of faith, an inspiration to us all, but at the end of the day, he was just a man who answered the call while never losing sight of who he was
