Very true. Many-a-times we are deceived in ourselves, thinking we have risen and obtained higher levels in spirituality but the flesh appears with it's "groanings" and demands and drags us down "memory lane", to verify if indeed we have risen and if indeed we are FREE in the LORD. We need the Lord's mercies daily. Yes, poor, miserable and wretched persons that we are…without that Mercy and His infinite love and enabling in His SPIRIT. Were it not for Christ, we would all BE ETERNALLY CONDEMNED TO PERDITION.
