No! The Bible says “whom the Son sets free is free indeed.” The Bible says The Son Jesus shall make you free. But faith without works is dead. You have to put in the work, but Jesus died to set us free!

How does a sinner dead in trespasses set themselves free of anything? Since Scripture is clear that salvation is entirely an act of sovereign God and we play no part how are we setting ourselves free of anything? Even belief is a devine act given by God, being born again from above isnt a 2 way street we play no part in our spiritual birth so that we have nothing to boast of….so again exactly what am i doing to set myself free? And how?
