These are my thoughts on the passing of Bishop Eddie Long, former pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in GA.

ATTENTION: Please watch the video BEFORE you comment. I DID NOT SAY BISHOP LONG DESERVES DEATH. I said we ALL deserve death because the wages of sin is death. Romans 6: 23 NLT For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
Death is the most promised thing we all will receive….And there's no death that will be higher up the status than the next….your not going to haven or hell get over that lie and fear filled fantasy…we are all going back out of existence like before you were conceived. …..this man let his T cell count get low because he didn't want to be here…this is what you call suicide the long way…he didn't have to shoot himself…the gun was loaded when he was infected….any one who has HIV that stops medication will die period….this was nothing more than suicide….
While i can appreciate your wisdom & graciousness in attempting to soften the blow of Eddie Long's passing, I must correct your use of the scriptures to justify him. Your hermeneutics & application of those scriptures are off & not in proper context.
I'm with you, I do believe that Eddie Long molested those young men, I also believe that he probably died from AIDS. The thing is, that if that's true the hypocrites of the church would never expose that because it would look like their Bishop might have been gay or on the down low and that the rumors would be more believable. This is why I don't cosign going to church every Sunday because it's all about APPEARANCES. What about keeping it real? What about just telling the congregation truth? You think no body in the church knew that Eddie Long was messing with them boys?! If they knew and didn't say anything, they're just as guilty as him. I just think this was God's way of punishing him. I pray that he asked for HIS forgiveness before he died. Great video!
My question is, how do we know who gave him the death sentence, 'God' or the 'Devil'? I though we weren't supposed to question 'God's' judgement as he know's what's going to happen before it happens?
I don't believe that Eddie Long was anointed by God…the Devil yes, but not God. I say this because the man shook hands with the Devil from day one his rise to stardom began. Lets keep in mind also that the Bible says that the Devil knows how to come forth as an angel of light. 2 Cor. 11:13-15>>For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. This man along with countless other so called ministers in the limelight sold their souls to the Devil…and if you are of the Devil then the works of the him you will do. ..like Jesus spoke to the Pharisees in John 8:44. Satan has ministers!!!
Death is SEPARATION FROM THE MOST HIGH..The body returning to the dust from which it came is NOT the DEATH that Adam and Eve experienced..SIN Death is GOD turning his back on you…EDDIE LONG died a long time ago

For salvation, people just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in water and the spirit. Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead. That's what Acts 2:38 is. We can't come up with our own plan. Our salvation has to match up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. I really don't think she meant that Bishop Long demise came from his Sin. I really don't think the Heavenly Father don't reprimand his people in that order. This guy have been Preaching since I think 1987. Bishop Long has been lying through his teeth for over 20 years. Just imagine some one lying to you over 20 years, and you knew they were lies. The Most High gives man forgiveness over and over again. Bishop Eddie Long chose to go to his grave and not ask his Congregation for forgiveness. We're not forced or demanded any of us to serve The Most High. This man at the very end his Cookies really started to crumble. Bishop Long isn't the only Pastor that most definitely feel The Most High Wrath. Using the Biblical tactic to get to the level he were at before death. Bishop Eddie Long has some major Skeletons in his closet. He was against homosexual in the public eyes. Really and truly he was in the flip side himself while Preaching about other homosexuals. It's that's not a hypocrite. I don't know what it. He hid behind his Bible, wife and childrens. He was a lying money hungry attention seeker. Point fingers at other Gay Men. I agree! It all got started in the Garden of Eden. At that moment, physical death became inevitable for all of us! Even Godly Christians die horrific deaths everyday. However, no one deserves eternal life (even the most perfect among us), but isn't it wonderful to know that Jesus' inconceivable greatness, His unbeatable power, and His unconditional love forgives "EVERY" sin, even that of a child molester!
No sin is greater than any other sin. Some have more horrible consequences! In God's eyes there are no degrees! Biblically speaking, we all deserve death, but Jesus' blood sets of free from the guilt and the penalty that we so deserve!

It is for God to judge him now, if he did not repent behind the scenes since he saw fit not to admit, apologize, and repent while he was alive.
