Gender stereotypes are not always obvious. They start to follow us from the our earliest days in the toy store and continues to …

  1. I hate when people put each other in a box and assume we're all defined by that little sh*t they put us in.
You literally can prove this all is BS by just existing and being who you are.

  2. Debunked by many studies.
    This video is crap.
Gender differences are biological. Get over it and stop making shit up.

These are the same idiots that probably think cats only eat meat because we think that’s how they are supposed to eat, and then proceed to feed their cats vegetables.

    Fuck these circus clowns

  3. Girls are suppose to be good in arts and humanities

ftm trans here idk what the hell is humanities but I'm rude as fuck (for reasons that are valid ofc, I wouldn't start a screaming match randomly)

I'm pretty good in maths and I like science (I suck at it in school bc the school system sucks and I can't memorize shit, I get the base concept thou, just can't write shit)

  4. The stereotype I grew up and still facing it , is the inequality in boys and girl in school, for eg: if a boy is doing something wrong he is being punished scolded and stuff, the same thing if girls do they either say nothing or just warn them like beta please don't do this and that.
And that's the reason in school ( I am not trying to be offensive) girls act bossy and full of attitude.

  5. Growing up my sister was the one who played with Barbies and Polly Pockets, meanwhile I loved dinosaurs, toy cars and toy trains. The only reason I ever started wearing any makeup in junior high was peer pressure from girly girls, and I've always loathed fashion and having to go shopping. These days I only wear makeup and dress nice for special occasions. Never took home ec, NEVER babysat, children make me uncomfortable. I've always been tomboyish and not the stereotypical "feminine" or girly type, and that was my choice 🤷

  6. I am a boy and i have literally everything like, i have a laptop, a gaming pc, a mobile, a tablet, a smartwatch.

These all were gifted by my relatives.

But my elder sister didn't even had a single gift like this.

I felt so bad for her.
    So……

I gifted her my laptop and my mobile phone. And she was so freaking happy about that 🤩🤩🤩

  7. What for this vedio any new reservation for women?
If they have any brave bone in the body do hard work and get some high position.
Don't enter back room by stabbing men in back and get opportunities.
We should abolish UN, UN women, IMF, and swden.
Which runing women mafia gang which collect baised data and doing routing hard earned money of men to women in back door in the name of fucknism.

UN reports are look like women's magazine books What the fuck?

These organizations spending all the money from men business man and routing to women business.

Those organizations advising all the country to spend all the money in budget to women welfare.
    Same on women genders.

Using body as cheap tool with high position men and getting done .
Which gives saliva on tough to ur faces.

Soon these deman will be abolished.

  8. There may be 64 genders (pertaining to how we reference complex personal classifications). The confusion of gender with frameworks of sexual preference is not an appropriate social model. There is no argument on the matter.

  9. Damn, I never really noticed this as a kid but looking back… My parents got me this giant, practically life-sized (by 5-year-old proportions) toy kitchen, complete with a bunch of toy food and cooking utensils. I also received lots of toy babies (sometimes ones that ACTUALLY "pooped" and I literally had to change their diapers, although I expressed my hatred for those ones real quick) and barbie dolls with glittery dresses and high heels. As I got a little bit older (8-9) I started receiving those cheap kid makeup kits.

My brother never got any of these things. My brother got toy cars, video games, and Lego sets. When I showed interest in my brother's Lego sets, my parents bought me my own sets, but only the Lego Friends type. When I wanted to play video games like my brother, they got me Hello Kitty and Cooking Mama games instead of Mario Kart or Minecraft like my brother had.

Now, my brother just came out as trans. And, somewhat surprisingly, our parents are supportive. But at the same time, they're practically falling over themselves asking her if she wants makeup, girly clothes, high heels, to learn to cook… the list goes on. They're not intentionally trying to cause harm, they're just misguided because that's the way that they were raised. But when I try to point this out, they get mad at me and call me disrespectful and ungrateful. My mom called me a bully the other day because I tried to tell her not to label people by LGBTQ+ stereotypes (she pointed out a man with a higher-pitched voice at the doctor's office and said "look he's gay." She also saw a girl at the store who looks manly and has a low voice and said that she must've transitioned from being a man). She refuses to believe that she's doing anything wrong 🙁

  10. For all the younger people watching. This video's bullshit. Please don't believe it. Women aren't expected to do arts, and males aren't expected to do math or science. We buy girls girl toys because the majority of young girls simply PREFER the girl toys. And vice versa with males. The video is talking about a very small percentage of people that don't share those preferences.

  11. HERE is my Rant:

I don't agree with this video at all. I think women are much better at dealing with people and their emotions, it is a natural thing that we have evolved with. Female animals are much more nursing in general than males, it is a built-in feature. Women are also attracted to strong confident men. If we let boys play with Barbies and do themself with makeup and be feminine in the later year women won't be attracted to them. And they can end up being confused in life and having a very challenging time, and being outcompeted by other men.
On the other hand for women I don't think we should be influencing men's activities at young ages or making it an equal system, Let's face it was different, we cant be forcing 50% of women to be bricklayers and 50% men. Men are also attracted to feminine women, this ideology has been around since human was around and it will not change. Men are not attracted to a man-like woman. And Women should be at home with their kids not working in general. I Can't name one mother that would rather be out working than raising her baby at home. Men can even work harder knowing their woman is at home taking care of their offspring.

  12. Even if you give all the resources to a woman,. let's say she's graduated from the World's top Engineering college – she'll still be doing the minor work by her own choice and not the hard ones like Building an IT firm and make a change to the society or anything that men can do after graduating from the same College. Wonder why Every successful Entrepreneur are males, why still still the hardest jobs like Electrician and Construction workers are male individuals. It's nature, you can't change its rules by just saying Equality. If you want it prove it. Equality can't be demanded, it's deserving to the right ones.

  13. In Scandinavia ppl are treated very equally, but the stem divide between men and women are actually BIGGER, this proves that its a stereotype for a reason, that women are more humanitarian than men and men like math and science more. Its that simple

  14. It’s not really true for me especially my school teacher didn’t expect anything’s from boy. But when it’s come to girls they will expect us to be good at “everything “ like we have to be good at math/art/science/English or anything except sports and have good handwriting😅. And it don’t make any sense to me. And I’m a girl who don’t really act like those. So I usually hear things like… “you are the worst girl in our class” “act like a girl” “why did your handwriting look like that you are a girl!”
    I be like: Nani ;-;?

  15. This is bs. Men don't choose STEM – men are forced into them. A man that can't make money has a difficult time with women – a women that can't make money can still get any man she wants. The (Adam Smith's) invisible hand pushes men into difficult STEM classes.

  16. When I was in high school, my mom told me not to feel bad if I’m not as good in science or math anymore because boys are naturally better at those subjects. I started to believe her and never took chemistry. I took computer programming instead. And guess what, I kicked ass in programming. And I tutored other kids in earth science and math.

But sadly, these stereotypes are true because I eventually became a teacher and now work in learning and development in the corporate world. I wish I could go back in time and pursue a job in programming instead.

  17. there is a lot more discussion to it then what was said here but this is some thing I have said many times. Gender stereotypes need to change at the TOY level

  18. i think its good we are aware of the effects of gendered toys on girls, but the other is just as important. we can't bring major change only by giving options to our girls, we must let our boys choose too. let the boys play with dolls, babies, cleaning things. When we tell our boys they can't play with babies, we tell them they cant be caring or nurturing. when we tell them they cant play with cleaning toys we tell them they can't clean, but reinforces the idea that girls are expected to clean. God forbid a boy grows up t be an actual good person. so let ur bloody sons play with bloody dolls for goodness sake.

  19. boys and girls would most likely to choose the same stereotype toys and professions willingly due their nature difference (we really can't ignore that). However, there are few exceptions which is ok, but we really can't call all of that different choices made by boys and girls stereotypes !

  20. This is postmodern Idiotology bullshit! Your funding should be taken away, because it is Not based on science! Men and women in general are different, this already starts with the different Chromosomes, Hormone balances and brain wiring! The postmodern idiology that reality is completely shaped by the way we speak e. g . is utter nonsense! A rose is a rose by any other name. QED…

  21. What a bullshit is this? This situation has little to nothing to do with the stereotypes. This is mostly about actual changes in the girls' brain structure which happen during the adolesence. Read book "The Female Brain"

  22. Boys like me are stereotyped as pathetic people at school and that we suck. If so, then why am i achieving my goals at my school? Why am I getting liked by some teachers? Why did I get more than one certificate during our end of year 10 summer celebration assembly? This honestly makes no ssnse.
