Where Could I Go Church Hymnal: Page 345 Song by: Tyler Hollifield & Abigail Vess & Dwayne Lewis
1. Living below in this old sinful world, Hardly a comfort can afford; Striving alone to face temptation sore, (Tyler Hollifield's bass: O brother let me tell you) Where Could I Go but to the Lord. Where Could I Go (Tyler Hollifield's bass: O Where Could I Go) O Where Could I Go, Seeking a refuge for my soul (Abigail Vess's tanor: For my soul); Needing a friend to save me in the end, (Tyler Hollifield's bass: O brother won't you tell me) Where Could I Go but to the Lord. 2. Neighbors are kind I love them every one, We get along in sweet accord; But when my soul needs manna from above, (Tyler Hollifield's bass: O brother let me tell you) Where Could I Go but to the Lord. 3. Life here is grand with friends I love so dear, Comfort I get from God's own word; Yet when I face the chilling hand of death, (Tyler Hollifield's bass: O brother let me tell you) Where Could I Go but to the Lord. Where Could I Go (Tyler Hollifield's bass: O Where Could I Go) O Where Could I Go, Seeking a refuge for my soul (Abigail Vess's tanor: For my soul); Needing a friend to save me in the end, (Tyler Hollifield's bass: O brother won't you tell me) Where Could I Go but to the Where Could I Go but to the Where Could I Go but to the Where Could I Go but to the Lord to the Lord.
Oh the perfectly coifed hairstyles of TV evangelists and the women of the choir (a can of hairspray applied like lacquer) – all in attendance promised Salvation
My father's tavorite song!! He was ill much of his life, when ĥe was dying he had such peace because of his trust i the heavenly journey awaiting him!!! He was only 57 years old!❤
Watching this brings a certain sadness over me. I love the song, don't get me wrong. It's that I grew up listening to these wonderful singers and to see them age before my eyes made me shed a tear. Come Lord Jesus.
Great truths – God is a friend who is kind, a refuge for our souls, and meets our needs. Given me joy this morning. Gives me joy seeing so many saints who have gone before us to add to the cloud of witnesses. Hallelujah!!
I remember that 1st video so well. My dad bought it when it came out and introduced me to the Gaithers and all the wonderful pioneers. What a wonderful walk down memory lane. 💖
Fantastic and thanks Bill. There are some great faces in that wonderful group of singers. Sonya and Becky look great in their early 50's. Still sounding so good.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is awesome old with newer. Still love the Elder though!
I miss Jeanie. I worked with her at Steinmart. A very precious elegant lady.

Those saints gone on before
God is the way to go and Christ is the map of directions to God.
After the resurrection, I can imagine Bill bringing the whole lot of them together for a great big choral concert sing along.
