It's so hard to find someone who is passionate about Jesus Christ, who at the same time is single with no kids (I don't have kids of my own) and who would even give me a second glance. I made the mistake of settling with someone who had little interest in God (I made my mistakes too it was both of us) and last Monday I woke up to a message from her saying she's leaving. I got too proud and comfortable, it was my fault. The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away, Blessed be the name of the Lord forever. Even if it does hurt like crazy
I’m currently going thru a lot with my current girl. We have a 2 month old baby girl, but me and her keep running into roadblocks. I love her and do still believe the Lord is still working in between us. Our love is currently being tested right now. Only the Lord knows the outcome of this one.
So your advice to christian men is to lead and follow the word of GOD. But you dont tell christian women to follow the men that are supposed to lead them. 🙄 wow double standards do exist in church

Being contentious with the father is a tricky one though, that's not a one way relationship. Some fathers really aren't parents, it's not the daughter's fault/necessarily say anything about her, because she was born into that. If she has grown out of it and loves/follows Christ, yet is still "contentious" with her father, is that really a woman to not "settle" for?

Contentious with their father? Why do you judge someone for being contentious with one of the parents? Sometimes family is the worst! They could be the ones having a bad attitude or you simply don’t get along with one of them, it’s life!. I don’t believe you should judge like this for a partner, also see their side, pray for them and trust God for a relationship.

What if her father is verbally & psychologically abusive to her mother and her, and as a result there is contention due to his destructive nature?
