This is so true. I had that experience. I was praying for healing from severe symptoms of endometriosis. I decided to fast for a few hours. I read some bible portions and prayed with them. At some point, i sat quietly, meditating on the word of God. In that quiet time, i heard a voice asking "what if I don't heal you, will you still trust me?" I looked around and i was still alone in the room. So I quickly said , yes Lord I will trust you. From that point, I felt a sense of peace as I knew that God had finally heard my prayers. I felt in my spirit to stop praying for healing and start praying for grace. Grace to be able to continue in my daily activities until God performs the healing. That very evening, as I was praying over the phone with a family member, healing took place. That was the last time I felt any symptoms. Surgery was no longer an option. I give God all the glory.
