The teaching on Zebedde and his sons mending their nets was profound, infact this entire teaching was an absolute eye opener. May God help us as the Body of Christ; fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, to have the discernment and humility to mend our nets in 2025. Dear Lord God Almighty I refuse to live casually in this year 2025 help me to come out of my comfort zone and go ye into the world and make disciples for Jesus Christ.
JESUS commissioned the DISCIPLES to CONTINUE with HIS MISSION of WITNESSING to the WORLD and BRINGING MEN and WOMEN into the KINGDOM of GOD.
They were to CONTINUE with BUSINESS of FISHERS OF MEN.
Unfortunately, PETER dragged them back to their FORMER WAY OF LIVING: going into FISHING in the SEA.
JESUS however, FOLLOWED THEM to the SEA in order to REMIND THEM of their COMMISSION and CALL them BACK to HIS MISSION.
Every BELIEVER faces the TEMPTATION of RETURNING to his former way of life before ACCEPTING JESUS as SAVIOUR.
This LIFE may APPEAR ATTRACTIVE and COMFORTING, but it is a SYMBOL of DISOBEDIENCE and REBELLION.
We MUST all be WATCHFUL and STAY FOCUSED!
