  1. The biggest reason to rum that double pass play IMO, is that from now on every safety playing deep is gonna have to pause and check behind them before crashing in to help the linebackers cleanup screen passes. Given how often McCaffery gets by the first defender, that delay might give him an extra couple yards on all those future screens.

  2. Now they wish they had an elite wr instead of a rb playing wr.. Joke! A late first rd pick value is all he cost them when you add all those picks together.
But it is interesting to see CMC just walk in the door and be the hands best player on the team. I'm sure they will be careful to limit his rush up the middle to try and keep him healthy.

  3. I can’t wait to see Juicecheck and Deebo all playing, mixing things up in that backfield and motioning everywhere.
In case you want some content feedback…I’m not a fan of the screen saver smoke or whatever that was at the end. Rather just look at a play on loop, at you speaking or the last frame of the game film

  4. Something tells me that the td pass CMC caught was meant for Kittle. Kittle and CMC were in the same area as was the pass. If you watch JG's head he wasn't leading CMC he was leading Kittle.

EDIT: Looked at it again 10x and both Kittle and CMC ran to the open space. Kittle was doubled, but both dbs were behind him as was CMC's db. Kittle was about 2-3 yards deeper than CMC and could have made that catch, too. Great play no matter what.

  5. Running backs matter a lot more than people act like as of late. If a team doesn’t respect your ability to run, they will blitz you nonstop. If you actually don’t even have the ability to run, you’re fucked.

  6. No disrespect but I do not agree with your analysis. He imo did nothing that any NFl back couldn’t have done. I see sports as staged. That would explain to me the bad defense the Rams employed particularly in the case of Mcaffrey. The first catch you showed the Rams db taking a bad angle as the catch being made. On the run Jalen Ramsey should have made the tackle well before he did, how long was he intending to keep his outside run leverage? The td pass that he threw was inexcusable, if #2 was in deep 1/3rd responsibility he should have never closed like he did, if he was rolled up, why didn’t the safety get over the top, Aiyuk came too almost a stop? If #2 was in man coverage he should have never left Aiyuk until he was clearly past the line scrimmage. On the td pass that he caught #33 clearly is playing zone coverage, which means you don’t commit until the ball is in the air. He appears to take a step toward Jimmy G when he was moving in the pocket. He should have had his attention on Jimmy G, while using his peripheral vision to keep his a check on Mcaffrey. I saw nothing special from him, just some inexplicable play for whatever reason from the Rams.
