    There is the other extreme for those who say they avoid confrontation so much that they also avoid addressing issues. As a result, they never talk about things and face them enough to clear them out.

  2. Thank you P.K for the insight and perspective. I'm still one who would vote for not going to bed in anger. Not necessarily trash everything out before bed, but at least be in talking terms before we are both asleep. We can discuss everything in detail much later. I lived in a family that I saw firsthand not trashing things out immediately did. And going to bed so cold and mad at each other.
