This guy is a fraud! I used to go to his church until a friend of mine told me that he pays those people he heals to fake sicknesses and to act like they cannot walk. Now me and my friend dont attend this church anymore! Thank God!
I have told my whole family the truth about Kobus, his wife and his sons and the evil that they do and preach at that church, I had a friend that used to go to their church all the time until he found out that they fake their miracles and edit out a lot of "unwanted" footage from their "healing pool" meetings such as when people that they claim that are healed falling down on the floor.
My friend even told me that they bring beggars from the streets to act sick (when he says look how skinny they are because of HIV) and "pays" them with food or money to make it seem like he is helping the poor and sick but instead he is paying them for acting sick for him to fake "heal them"
I believe what my friend says about this man because every week he used to have only praise for Kobus until he found out about the evil that they do. They feel that lying about miracles is fine because there is no such thing as sin anymore. I pray that those who are following this man and believe that he is a real prophet would wake up and read the Bible for themselves and not let a fraud like Kobus twist it and read it for them.
Scam artists are everywhere and the biggest scam is to work on peoples fears and the church can do it best. These rich holy rollers will never be blessed
A second area in which a false prophet can be judged is that of doctrine. Superficially what he teaches may seem biblical and orthodox, but careful examination will always reveal ideas that are unscriptural and the absence of a strong, clear theology. False ideas will be taught, or at least important truths will be omitted. Frequently there will be a combination of both. Eventually the fruit will show a tree for what it is, because a good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. The creed of false prophets never has a narrow gate or a narrow way. On the surface their message may sound difficult and demanding, but it will always rest on the foundation of man’s works and will therefore always be accomplishable by man’s own effort. They never reveal the depth or danger of sin and depravity, the need for repentance, forgiveness, and submission to the Lord, or the destiny of judgment, condemnation, and eternal destruction for those apart from God. There is no brokenness over sin and no longing after righteousness. They have easy answers for small problems. “They have healed the brokenness of My people superficially,” Jeremiah says, “saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ but there is no peace” (Jer. 6:14). There is no humility, no warning of judgment, and no call for repentance and a contrite heart of obedience. They have a ready hearing among most people, because they say only what people like to hear. Just as did ancient Israel in Jeremiah’s time, people today like it that way (Jer. 5:31). They want to hear illusions, not truth. They are enamored with pleasure and fantasy and resent being confronted with anything disquieting and condemnatory. They want encouragement but not correction, positive words but not negative truth. They will accept grace as long as it is cheap grace and does not reflect against their own sinfulness, inadequacies, and lostness.
Reading all these judgmental comments about this great man of God only one scripture comes to my mind: Now the people stood by, watching; but even the rulers ridiculed and sneered at Him, saying, “He saved others [from death]; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed) of God, His Chosen One.” and sarcastically saying, “If you are [really] the King of the Jews, save Yourself [from death]!”
