  1. Fat man. True Christians aren't popular with the world…and no man of God in the New Testament placed emphasis on riches. Jesus and those early Christians are our examples, so who is adeboye following?

  2. So in all those years that you were preaching 'no tithe, no heaven', the person who spoke to you about money and arranged for all these your gifts didn't tell you that preaching was wrong???

    Wayo

  3. Revelation 3:16-17:
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

BECAUSE thou sayest, I am RICH, and INCREASED WITH GOODS, and have NEED OF NOTHING; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Is it not obvious that Jesus is talking about adeboye and all others who place emphasis on money, influence and power?

  4. Matthew 6:19-21
    King James Version
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

  5. Matthew 19:24
    King James Version
24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Money is powerful and seductive. You would have made it your god almost before you know it. To leave money and enter God's kingdom is not easy. So why take the risk?

    And it doesn't work alone:
    Mark 4:19
    King James Version
19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
