Before i made up my mind to leave the church of my youth, i sat down with the pastor and asked her what she believed. I came out of the Methodist church where they change pastors every four years. She told me she didn't believe in God or the Bible. She said there was no heaven or hell and that the Bible was simply a book of stories. I was stunned by her reply and i asked, Why are you a Pastor if you don't believe. She answered, It's a guaranteed salary and pension. After that i left my church. Visited other denominations but found unbelief and corruption in them all. I gave up on religion, on all denominations and stopped going to church, altogether. I began read the Bible on my own. And then my husband died in 2014, and my world was turned upside down. My home was broken into several times and i was attacked. I couldn't figure out why God would allow anyone to attack me. For 6 years, i lived in a perpetual state of caution. I didn't trust anyone. In 2020 i was finally able to move. And now i listen to Dr Myles Munroe in the morning, and some days, all day long. I'm stronger spiritually and am preparing to move again, to a small town up North. A small town where people don't lock their doors and everyone knows everyone. I'll continue to listen to Mr Munroe and read these all these comments.
Father I come boldly in the throne of mercy and ask asked for forgiveness of my iniquties by being praised by someone, I do not need to be worshipped or be praised. And also that when sharing the gospel we shuld not mention the cross or forgiveness of sins but only signs and wonders and what God can do for us like prosper our bank accounts. I love this: The reason why God makes you experience new things is because He wants you to have new experiences to worship Him with. It’s a flip side of looking at the battles we face as worship leaders. We can choose to look at it as though we have to keep fighting and going through or that God is increasing our worship with new material. I always say to my team; the worship hits different when you have been through difficulties and God took you to the other side!
