Who gave the standard in the number of years a person will have to train to be ordained? If the bible is our anchor, how long did it take Jesus to ordain the apostles into ministry?.. After Jesus, how long did it take Paul to ordain Timothy into ministry? What were the criteria's required for setting them apart for ministry?.
When Paul and Barnabas were laid hands on by the elders and set apart for the work they were called into.. Who certified them worthy and ready?.
The church needs to be careful, i find it disturbing that we benchmark the process of spiritual making on the premise of ordinary worldy certifications.
Need i remind us that not everyone who spends 3,4,9 or 10yrs is even qualified to be ordained. Thats not important.
The quality of what is thought, the ability to capture spiritual realities, stabilize depth in kingdom principles and come into the fullness of Christ and by the express certification of the Holy Ghost of ones training and readiness should be the standard.
Years dont not mean anything. You can study business from the best schools in the world for decades; it does not automatically qualify you to becoming a successful business owner or even a billionaire.
Depth in knowing is important, understanding is critical, strength in maturing and room for growth is paramount.
Hmmmmm! The true test is the person to be ordained. The heart and Grace to remain in the service for one more year before ordination is a tin line, for all the soldiers standing right now.
Note: Family and friends has been called to witness this ordination. So you see, many will struggle to accept this particular decision. However GOD has a purpose for this so be strong in the Lord and in the Power of His Mighty.

Where did Dr Ogbueli got the number of years someone must be trained to be an apostle? As far as I careless about calling someone by titles, what you cannot establish in the Bible is doctrine of men. What is the essence of ordaining themselves as an apostle self, be saved, sanctified and be filled with the Holy Spirit and get to do the work of Christ, preach, heal and teach. I wonder why I will submit to the authority of those that still worship idol to be my watch. Joseph didn't submit to anyone neither did Daniel and yet they lead a righteous life here. All this fatherhood thing should be taken with a loose hand.

The teachings are good from the Church Fathers but the setting for correction is is wrong. Doing the right thing at the wrong time publicly. What happened to retreat before this day? The Church Father never visited them to counsel in a retreat before ordination. This is absolutely chaotic. It can only happen in Africa. He could have fact checked the the Apostle before this day. Pride is not far from this descision. I will definitely get to this Church Father. Chaos to correct chaos? Come one. There is always protocol set up at the invitation of a Church Father including what to do at what time including precausion. Come to think about this. Is it the fault of the trainee here being described as unqualified? The only person with credit here is the Apostle and the humility. But henceforth he should learn to follow due process to avert this kind of embarassment. These leaders fail to understand that the wrong timing and this public exergecies in the congregation were all unnecessary. Very wrong indeed. How qualified is this Church Father with this public downgrade of order and decency? The trainnees are embarassed from every respect. How many people travelled for this? How many are leaving grieve by administrative mediocrity? How many souls are qurstioning our administrative set up? I rest my case as I pray this never happens again
Infact Ordination is a big thing to prepare in all ways before announcement. It can't be a simple Church event to be brought and tested in public and then dismissed. A lot has been said about Nigerian Christianity and administration needs to be looked into.

I was tasted too but Thank God my heart didn't become resentful and in the same year I got ordained into the office of a pastor
Man of God thank you for being in this generation, I wish other denominations will lean on this that the body of Christ shall be one
