This movie sent me on a roller-coaster of emotions. The actors were excellent. I know that the countless people who are struggling with issues portrayed in this movie were helped by watching it. When it aired and now I've seen it on a few movie channels. It's well worth the time to watch it.
Wow! 3 min in and the church is the most beautiful space. Ty. People always blame God for not being there when bad and evil things happen, but he does not promise a life without evil. He does keep his promises when we get to heaven. Our souls or energy or whatever transcends are cleansed of hurt, depression and sickness. We are made whole and we exist in a cocoon of peace. Evil is real and God does warn us, but we reason ourselves out of what our primal instincts know. We are the problem.
I just started another movie where the 12 y/o looked way to old and now Eden looks like 16+. ALERT: Makeup artists and directors remember to match the neck chest and body to the face color. Ears are greasy please do not forget them 🙂 There is now the day after pill and BC. I love babies but people who think every irresponsible sexual act that results in fertilization has to be born are not living in reality. Who will care and pay for all these babies? One horrific story after another in the news. Rape too.
This is a great movie about truth and consequences, while at the same time making right choices and looking beyond one’s own fears and struggles. It’s always the right thing to put down one’s own selfishness, pride, and fears to preserve the life of those who are too young to take care of themselves.
That's so weird that she doesn't even acknowledge her daughter when mom walks into the store and then she storms out like a child when her mom says no to the dress and she still says nothing to her child when she leaves. 🤷♀️🤦♀️
The message was she made the decision to keep the baby in spite of all the circumstances. Having been raped by her uncle, her dad going to jail for killing him and all the dysfunctional family Dynamics. But what's missing is that there's so much more then just keeping the baby and passing high school or whatever it was what's missing is all the trauma that she has to live with and how that's truly affected her and how that's going to play in the family Dynamics with her and her child there's so much more to it that's missing it's just not this cut and dry. To me this is a movie that absolutely does not deal with the reality of the situation and churches and Christians can pray for people and I'm not advocating abortion and I'm not advocating having a child what I am saying is that it is very dangerous for a person that isn't a professional in these types of trauma to get involved they can really hurt somebody. I've seen it happen to a friend of mine she almost died because of the church no joke not okay
They talk about God. No repentance. Not one thing Christian about this. Stories, pride, rebellion, mom and dad not married. Dad probably went to hell. NO ONE honoring mother or father. Inappropriate clothing. Selfishness. VERY WORLDLY. No repentance, no Salvation. What has happened to Kevin Sorbo? Did he leave Hollywood for this?
I am not a religious person when a young girl finds her self pregnant as it’s in this movie getting an abortion that should never be a option as it’s wrong a human life yet people shouldn’t blame there situation on god or what ever people believe in we all make choices in live that can lead us in the right direction or the wrong direction it’s up to us to make the right decision if that makes any sense to anyone there is a message in this movie I think as human beings we are to hard on our self.
