In light of this message I had to look up Philippians 2:12-13 because I knew the Word says that God is the one who works in us “to will” and “to work.” So Dr. Myles teaching felt contrary to this. The passage says, “Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” That seemed confusing right away, but then I took my time to meditate and discovered that verse 13 has to be read in context with verse 12. Verse 12 is a command for us to work things out. But then verse 13 says that the work we do is actually God doing it. 🤔 We work together? When I activate, He activates? We are one? It seems then that when I begin to work and choose to make an agreement with God’s will, God immediately goes to work in me to carry out good deeds & holy living. We hold the power to decide and God holds the power to carry it out. So, then—-although choosing to partner our wills with God all day, every day and in every situation IS one of the THEE hardest things to genuinely do consistently…when we actually do it, we hit the jackpot of power and become successful and prosperous in that thing—because of God at work in us! He doesn’t fail. If we can agree with God and choose Him in everything, His power is limitless for us. But, we have to choose everyday. Sanctification is not a one time decision. Sanctification is salvation that is worked out over the course of one’s life until glorification in eternity. Grace is what saves us and grace is what sanctifies us, but we must choose to believe and act on those beliefs. 🙌 Then God’s power activates in us!!!!! Transformation is impossible without faith and living faith is worked out in action. WE must make the decision to change our minds because our minds will influence how we will live. Then God will carry out the transformation: “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” -Romans 12:2 Time to rebuke the thoughts of the flesh and believe God’s Word about everything! 🙌🙏

The day I discovered Dr. Myles teaching I didn’t know he had left us, his word changed my mindset and I have never been the same again…. He left a footprint and as for me personally am following through his footprints because am a conqueror and his word lives in me forever and ever… I Thank God for allowing such a great man to have walked among us….
