Aunty Nyma nailed it real good. Baba Kumuyi is not actually changing his stance. What he's saying is that, we should not send people out of church because they didn't conform to Bible doctrines. It is better for them to come to church the way they are, and by hearing God's word, hopefully, it will transforme their lives and obeying God's commandments will not be because they're forced to do it, but because they love God.
RCCG do not have a dress code for pastor, and no beards. The General Overseer don't wear suit everytime and some pastors have beards. Asiwaju Angeles you are free to chose your church or religion. This is my nineteenth year of marriage and I was in a retreat where he addressed this issue. I was still single as at then. He is not just addressing it now. I wasn’t convinced and I followed the way God deals with me. The incident is over 30 years already. By the grace of I am still serving God joyfully in the same church today. Some people go overboard at times and the Overseer has always tried to bring them back to an ideal standard. Himself apologises openly in some instances as the need arises. May God help us all to make it till the end in Jesus name.

Most of the things attributed to Pastor Kumuyi aren't from him. Some of his followers took a lot of their practices to the extreme and a lot of the followers turned them to hardline practices.
Doctrine is the Scriptures – The teachings and instructions of the Bible….. Doctrine is not 'human instituted' rules that people have termed as 'Doctrines'.

He said, urshers should not send NEW COMERS back from entering the church because their hair is not covered. Thank you Nymar for having a higher wisdom to understand this.
