Why God gave His children free will. He knew there would be false prophets. Like Eddie Griffin said, "when the pimp game died out because of crack(pimps/aka, parasites)"the hustlers had to find another hustle". Historically, Satanic forces have long infiltrated "The Church". Teaching false doctrine. Starting with "turn the other cheek, wait on the Lord". I think God is waiting on us. Yes He is a God of love, peace, and understanding. But He's also a God of war, wrath, and vengeance. Much the same way we're raising our children to be a bunch of punks, "The Church raises a bunch of demon fodder.
Furtick makes me recall something said in a John MacArthur sermon a while back: that people who follow false teachers are not victims; the false teacher is God's judgement upon them. Pray for Furtick, sure, but pray for the souls who are under God's judgment such that they are in his "church" in the first place.
i'm still struggling as to why God doesn't put a stop to these people's "ministries", but, obviously don't have the perspective God does on this issue…people do have the choice to choose error over truth, and there will definitely be a a day reckoning for every person who's flocked to these people, and the teachers who are profiting from it, "in the name of Jeeeez-usssss!!!…"…
regarding the comments about "wanting the best" everywhere else except church, i totally agree…i've been on worship teams for many years, and i am stunned by how similar this sentiment is there…songs can be full of un-Biblical concepts, but because people like how the song sounds, that is has Jesus or God in the lyrics, etc, they give the doctrinal concerns with it a back-burner…the reason that the American Church is in the state it is now, is because people are allowing error to thrive- they're not confronting it, or the people who propagate it (the Church at Thyatira from Revelation comes to mind…)…

False prophets get away with this because the people are Scripturally illiterate. Why do you believe what is not written? These devil prophets are leading people straight to hell.
You don't have the gospel of Christ the Messiah Yeshua. What you have are four anonymous gospels. The gospel according to Mark, according to luke, according to Mathew, and according to John.
Well actually if you go to original text the word they incorrectly translated for blind was τυφλός, τυφλοῦ, ὁ τύφω, which orignially meant to raise a smoke; hence, properly, 'darkened by smoke'
What really astonishes me is how he says they were BOLD. How do he know that. Scriptures didn’t say they were bold. What he’s doing is projecting to his audience what is popular today. Using positive affirmations to emotional encourage someone in the audience who may not feel bold. Well that was bad teaching. If he wanted to encourage his audience I say audience because I don’t know if they are true believers who has been baptized by the Holy Spirit. I know the Holy Spirit will convict you and cause you to repentance and humbly accept correction. However, Ephesians 6:10-19 title “ARMOR OF GOD.” Is he going to change the title of this section.
Are you not hearing the preacher's message? He is saying that: CHRIST FIXED THEM! HEALED THEM! SAVED THEM FROM THEIR MISERY! PRAISE GOD! That what I heard the preacher in the fussy sweater saying.
