I would like to say I’ve seen a lot of hate from this movie. I know it could’ve been better. But how would this movie be anti-Christian? Just because it’s a movie about a person trying to grant wishes to everyone doesn’t make it that! Like lots of stories had done the same thing before and now this one has to be Anti-Christian.
A world where everyone got all that they wanted would be terrifying. Imagine all the perverts who would wish for a haram. Imagine the people who would wish to riches and fame. Image those who would wish for others to die or suffer.
It’s good that God doesn’t answer all request. Humans don’t always wish for good things.
If Magnifico is a sorcerer, wouldn't that mean his power is derived from the Devil? 1:48 See also every Disney movie ever. 6:22 So he has a Luciferian mentality. That would make this whole criticism ironic.
In a court of law you are supposed to hear from both the prosecuting attorney and the defense attorney and weigh the evidence and come to a conclusion , the word apologia where we ger the term apologetics is a reasoned defense like a attorney presenting the evidence that the gospel is true and reliable. Unfortunately many athiests and professing christians will not look at the evidence on both sides. Many christians will watch disney movies and review but wont watch a christian ministry that exposes disney. I would encourage whaddoyomeme content creator and all who read this to watch documentary " marvel and D.C's war on God" by goodfight ministries. I challenge you to watch at least the 1st 30 mins of part 1 ( 2 documentarys so far 5 more comming) if after the first 30 mins of part 1 you dont see the evidemce that disney/ marvel is completly corrupt dont watch anymore but if you love Jesus and the first 30 mins doesnt effect you deeply enough to want to watch the rest than fine. But at least look at the evidence. I made a soecial trip almost 1 year and 1/2 ago to see frank turek in person. I bought copies of tge dvd evidence and a book written by a marvel writer who openly proudly shiws you the occult influences and i gave frank money and my testumony just begging him to look at the evidence and he never did.I dont know how to youtube channel if he honestly watches thise documentary and read book i gave him he woukd see i am. Ot exxagerating and he could let more people know than I could he frank would have to make a revision of a few parts of his hero book because i can proove some of his statements are 100 % wrong..a few cganges and it would be corrected and he has revised other of his own books and we are all supposed to be teachable and corrected if wrong. I nevee said his whole book is wrong just some of claims he makes. I challenge you to sit and watch documentary and read " our gods wear spandex" book and theres way more evidence than that. This only scratches the surface..consider since youve take the time to watch and review the disney movies to hear the opposing council
I learned my lesson to vet these movies when I watched Princess and the Frog for the first time with my 2 year old. So much demonic practices and imaging. I will never watch another kids movie with my daughter ever again before I watch it by myself lol.
Is WISH Anti – Christian? It's a complicated question that will need an equally qualified answer. First; WISH basically is, in my opinion NOT Anti – Christian. The movie is at heart a Very Shallow story populated by VERY "cookie – cutter" shallow, one dimension characters, promoting a VERY juvenile level, simple – minded, and overly naive POV and message. All of these inept elements combined MIGHT give the impression that DISNEY'S WISH is trying to push an Anti – Christian message, when, actually, WISH is just, story wise, a simple – minded, BADLY MADE movie, made by naive, inexperienced writers, being led by an equally naive and inexperienced director. WISH had the potential to present a deeper, more thought provoking story. The concept of WISH fulfillment, as presented by WISH is basically Getting one's WISH is GOOD, Almost an ENTITLED RIGHT, while NOT GETTING one's WISH is BAD. King Magnifico is pictured – VERY one dimentionedly – to be a selfish villain who arbitrarily decides whether a person's wish will be granted or not. Many people will immediately see this as 'Anti – Christian' since they will think that the movie is equating the selfish King to the Christian GOD in HEAVEN. In reality, there is NO COMPARISON since the King in WISH is, while magically powerful, still a man, while GOD is GOD and NOT human at all. DISNEY failed to use this element of the King's flawed humanity to give WISH a deeper story addressing the REDEMPTION of King Magnifico with the help of the female protagonist Asha. Instead, DISNEY decided to focus on making WISH a shallow story of an Empowered / Entitled, FEMALE protagonist "bravely' putting down the MALE Patriarchy as personified by King Magnifico. DISNEY also fails to address the question of Wishes being granted for Instant gratification, as opposed to Wishes being granted via one's honest efforts and hard work to MAKE A WISH COMEV TRUE. You could say that the former is represented by the Tik tok generation of modern youth in society while the latter are represented by the average hard working people who HAVE A DREAM / WISH, but are wise enough, and patient enough to put in the effort to reach their GOAL / WISH. And what about the concept of two or more people having the same WISH, but only ONE of the bunch can achieve it, such as players in a competition. In such a situation one person gaining his WISH will, obviously mean that other people will, at that moment, be deprived of their – to them – equally important WISH. DISNEY could have addressed SO MANY of these issues in their 100th Anniversary movie, but THAT STORY would have been much harder to write, especially when you consider that the story had to be kept simple, and engaging enough for children to appreciate. It could have been done, but DISNEY DISD NOT WANT TO MAKE THE EFFORT to make WISH a truly GREAT movie.
Why would we think Disney or any other company who does not currently promote themselves as a Christian Company would put out anything remotely Christian . We already know what to expect. Enter at your own risk.
Far as I'm concerned I will never watch Disney again never will I trust them if they turn around right now I'm sorry I will never buy anything Disney I hope they go bankrupt
Sadly, the best movies Disney and other studios made are the older movies. Disney was not making movies like this one back in the day. Now we’re see more movies like this one.
Ok so one a dream and a wish is not same. Why Disney because defined a wish has to something else. And Jesus the King is not similar that to the King considering spoiler alert in the past King get possessed by an evil book or something. Where Jesus can not or ever be possessed by evil powers. Why because there is no evil power that ever can take over Jesus . because He's Holy, good, and God's Son . It certainly don't happened when Jesus is in the form of men. Two ; Jesus is mentor I tim 2:5 For there one Mant
Everyone wants for themselves ME ME ME AND ME!! That’s why granting wishes just because they want it is destructive. Parents are the epitome of who God/Jesus Christ is to us! We are so young and ignorant but ancient doesn’t hold a candle to how old God is! We respect measly humans as wise yet get “offended” at God being ALL KNOWING & INTELLIGENT. So, no I don’t feel anything for those who don’t like having truth & loving restrictions for our protection against despicable and destructive actions, behaviors and beliefs! We’re okay with stopping children from making poor decisions but not stopping fellow humans from doing the same when they’re ignorant of what they’re doing and being. 🤦🏻♀️🙏🏼God help us all!✝️
Some would argue that the King is, in actuality, the good guy done dirty by Disney by trying to make him a twist villain needlessly. Some of the wishes shown are dangerous in hindsight (one wish shows someone conquering a land, aka war) and are thus, not granted. Overall, the King is taking repercussions in mind to prevent any suffering that might result by them.
Hey, Whaddo you Meme, what is your opinion on the 2005 Constantine film? Since you review films on a Christian perspective, your opinion on this film would be helpful to me.
I discourage my kids from wishing on stars in real life, and i try to avoid books or shows that promote this practice. We are not supposed to pray to created things or seek their help.
What do you think? Intentional, or coincidental? Let me know down below!

EYE ROLLLLLLLL. Christians are rhe worst. Especially these fake ones on the grift train
Evangelicals will never not jump into some stupid culture war
It’s crazy to think that people demand God to answer yes to all prayers when no is also an answer.

I saw the movie and thought it was so good because it points out the false views of the Christian worldview.
Hey, Whaddo you Meme, what is your opinion on the 2005 Constantine film?

Disney was never Christian anyway why you think they call it make believe?
Thank you for this message. 🙏
If you think this movie was made antithetical to the scriptures accidentally, you are naive.
That said, it doesn’t mean that the human creators were specifically plotting against Christians, but they are led along by evil spirits.
